I think hes gonna pull off some great saves this season but hes going to cost us a number of points through poor decision making/distribution. Just dont feel as comfortable with him as I once did

Played alot better than I expected he would. Besides that mistake in the first half I thought it was a very solid captains performance. It could be the start of something great.

Kozak to start and gestede to come off the bench.

Last season he was about a 4/10 which was an improvement from previous seasons. Thats all the praise i gave him.

These signings have been second to none.

Before the window started i never thought it would be possible for us to sign players like richards, amavi, gueye, ayew, adebayor, gestede, veretout. They might not all be a success but its incredible work to get all these players and im genuinely excited for the season to begin. Selling nzogbia would just complete it.

at 6 mill i definitely prefer him rather than spending 15/16mill on austin + his wage demands. Could be a steal!

One of the posters is hoping veretout gets some stick when we visit them... Yes give him stick for joining the team that shown genuine interest in him first rather than the team that tried to steal him. Logic

I think he should start atleast the first match as he will probably be the most match fit and has played well.

I thought Kozak and Gueye were probably the best 2 players. Overall that was quite a high intensity friendly which is great preparation for the season ahead.

Its definitely a worry but it seems like it has to be done. It feels like a bit of a do or die transfer window. Both exciting and scary times!

I don't think he quite fits the 'winners' mould that sherwood is after but hopefully he can be adequate cover.

Cambiasso - free Praet - £10m Adebayor - loan Oulare - £8m Holgate - £2m That would be £20m in transfer money. Wages should't be too high either. Not impossible. That would be awesome. Just sounds too good to be true!

This feels wierd. I knew he was going to leave but i was holding on the 0.01% chance the deal would break down for some reason. Best of luck to the big man.
