Plenty of players dive when there isn't a clear goalscoring opportunity fo a any number of reasons, whether it's to break up a spell of limited possession, or because they'er under pressure, or maybe to get a key opponent carded to minimise his threat. Conning the ref is cheating, which by it's very definition is against the rules. You seem to be advocating adding a whole new layer of totally subjective regulations to a set of rules that is already wide open to abuse, simply because one of our players got sent off for diving.

Then he celebrates like a Chippendale as though he singlehandedly won the game, even though he spent most of it fluffing his chances and glowering at any of his teammates who took a chance instead of passing to him. All of this feeds into what I posted earlier about him prioritising his own achievements over the team he plays for.

The fact that Ronaldo doesn't care about appearing to be a clearing in the woods doesn't prove anything other than the fact he's a clearing in the woods. I've no doubt Messi is probably a tax avoiding prima donna, and don't really care about the Messi v Ronaldo thing that much. Personally though I'd rather watch Messi creating team goals for Barca than watch Ronaldo sulking because someone else on his team scored and it might affect his precious record breaking. His celebration in the CL final summed up everything I dislike about the man. Utter gimp.

Arsenal in the semis would be when they're fighting for top 4 in the league. CL qualification takes priority, and there'd be a chance of players rested to ensure they get that next year. In the final, there are no more games, they go full strength regardless I know what you're saying, but even if Arsenal rested key players against us their back ups would probably still be worth more than our entire lineup, so not sure how much it matters really. We were always going to have to beat big teams.

Why? Would you prefer Arsenal? I personally would but that is just my opinion I think they would want revenge after they beat us heavily in the league and obviously tim won't like arsenal so would be desperate to do them over. Dont fancy us against liverpool and yes im confident they will beat blackburn. I thought Sherwood was an Arse man?
