    Born and bred in Brum supported the club since 1970, Ist division champs, European cup winners to life in third division losing to the likes of Tranmere, I love the Villa but I'm also a realist and we are not as attractive to foreign stars as London or North Eastern clubs atm, but we will rise again.     Difficulty is attracting good enough players when your in the bottom 3 and just got stuffed 6-1 at home. As I see it either owners really spend and maybe change the Manager or stick with Dean, accept likely relegation and continue club rebuild with more parachute money and inevitable funds from star player sales. mmmh! I say star players perhaps I should just say Jack. Also hope Nyland keeps his spot, not one goal today down to him

    Said all along a back 3 suited our available players, makes us stronger defensively whilst keeping our attacking threat real. Dependant on opposition and with Targett back for Taylor we could also go 3-5-2 possibly having AEG up front with Wesley (if fit). I wonder if the players pushed for this given Jacks post match comments.

    for me: Heaton Konza Mings Hause Guilbert Mcginn Luiz Targett Grealish Hourihane Wesley subs: Nyland, Engels, Nakamba, El Ghazi, Kodjia, Trez, Lansbury I think this team would transistion better back to front, McGinn deeper along Luiz = more aggression. Jack, connor and Wes playing in triangles. Width from full backs who are covered better by quickish CB's all with height for headed clearances. Simply this manager lark innit
