Showing my age here oops!
We can all see there are serious issues with our squad mainly that they lack enough ability, application and desire. Fortunately our new Manager will see this also and will correct it. We need to continue to be patient as the set up for the next decade looks like it will take two or three seasons to get the foundations right.
In Unai we trust!
ps excellent management last night not to put Kaden Young on and endure that shit show.
Me too, the reported meeting with Purslow, very quiet from us, Lyric saying he couldn't take job until Nov and his pedigree being very high but maybe not Poch Klopp level all made sense to me. Good punt at 6/1. Kerching!! hopefully. His tactical abilities will suit our squad now as well.
Have to agree with the analysis. I also see emery as the best, safest, gettable coach and have put money on it but I could get behind Amorim for the potential of getting a top elite manager at an early age. Must be the gambler in me.
Whilst my first choice has been and still is Unai Emery, the prospect of Amorim is attractive but very scary! so inexperienced going into the PL with our squad.
The prudent way forward may be to hire Dyche who I think is very capable of uniting our squad, coaching them properly and would ensure PL survival this season, He would get us to 12th -8th next season and when a better option is available and keen to take us into European competition make the "elite manager " move then.
