  1. We haven't scored more than two this season have we?
  2. That's what you get when wiemann plays through the middle!
  3. Why can't we just score a scrappy, controversial, harsh on the eyes goal? Who does he think he is, coming over here and thinking he can entertain us!
  4. We score so rarely we even have special photos to commemorate!
  5. That gets better the more you see it. Absolutely amazing!
  6. Going back to the ticket prices, surely even though the club have to agree a price, that doesn't mean they can't subsidise/pay for the tickets for ST holders? These are the people they are trying to convince to throw another £400+ away this summer, and based on what we have seen so far you'd think they'd be trying to sweeten the deal a bit. On the game, I really see us as the underdogs and if we score I'll be impressed. Our only hope is them playing second string players and Gil and Benteke linking up well.
  7. If you had to pick one player to blame today, it's him. He had the service today. Where's the excuse? He couldn't even be bothered to jump. He obviously doesn't want to be here, but no one will come for him playing like this.
  8. Am I the only one who thought the yellow was harsh? He reacted like most players do in similar circumstances, but because the other player got a red the ref thought he had to give Clark a card too. Any other time, without the reaction from Leicester, Clark wouldn't have been carded.
  9. It he had any self respect he'd walk tonight and start rebuilding his reputation. His assistant manager showed more passion today than he did. Pearson having a go at our bench and he's just sitting there making notes. How can he expect to inspire a win? He's so dull. He's turned us into such a pointless team, and there is no turning it round with him in charge. Sadly, Lerner doesn't care!
  10. Would Benteke really go there? He seems to have high standards for himself, and even though I'm sure the money would be an attraction, I honestly think playing football week in week out is more important to him. He wouldn't be a starter for them once their big players get back from injury. But if we did sell him, I'm sure most fans would be happy enough if we reinvested it on Danny ings and a decent attacking midfielder.
  11. He might not have lost the dressing room, but he lost the majority of the fans a long time ago. If your boss kept choosing you for the big projects even though you kept failing to produce anything of quality would you hate him or would you be working for him?
  12. I can't see anyone coming in for him, I doubt he'll even get a big club at the end of the season with how fragile he is.
  13. I think it's safe to say lambert would've been sacked 10 times over by now.
  14. Shocking. Just shocking. I honestly can't think of a more pointless 90 minutes of football.
  15. One word. Bored. No movement. No runners. No passion. No chance.
  16. It seems like our appeal is based on the fact that Lambert has watched other games from the weekend and there were worse tackles that werent carded or sent off. I still think its a nailed on red, but it seems like we're going along the lines of 'But sir, he did it too and he got away with it'. I wonder if we'd have bothered appealing if gabbys hadnt been rescinded? Either way, im not too bothered if it is. It seemed like Delph couldnt be bothered to put effort in all game and didnt want to get injured. Dont think we'll see him again for us.
  17. I cant see Pulis going anywhere that won't give him money to spend, on the players that he wants to spend it on. Wouldn't surprise me to see Sherwood come in, make an instant impact, and keep them up by the skin of their teeth (the few they have left). Sherwood will then get too big for his boots, realise he loves London and leave them.
  18. Birmingham Mail reckon we are going to appeal this. Would be amazed if it was allowed, best we could hope for is a reduction on the ban.
  19. It's a pretty safe bet that Lambert would be okay with the idea of signing someone creative if the club are prepared to fund it. The club are willing to find £7.5 million to buy someone as anonymous as cleverly.
  20. I don't know how anyone can argue that wasn't a red. If someone made that challenge on our players we'd be calling for their heads. It was a needless and reckless challenge and he deserves the ban.
  21. If this guy had half the positional awareness that Darren bent has he'd be brilliant. He won't be world class until he stops expecting the ball and starts getting himself into positions where it won't take a miracle to find him. His positioning for that grealish cross was shocking. And he must have an issue with being touched because a slight touch on the shoulder by the other team and he wants a foul. He might be a good player, but he isn't anywhere near the finished product yet.
  22. It says something when only Sanchez has been better than grealish, and he's been on for about 15 minutes.
  23. indeed, why wasn't he closer to Grealish when the pass came??! How he thinks the best thing to do is to pull back to the edge of the box is shocking, he has to be making a run towards the 6 yard box there. I know people moan about comparisons with bent but he would be on the end of that 9 times out of 10!
