  1. The more I think about that penalty incident the more I get mad. It is such a clear and obvious error that I can't believe that any reasonable person would decide otherwise... especially TWO 'trained' officials. It's incredibly negligent at best and they should face disciplinary action.
  2. VAR was even worse then usual today. They messed up the lines for deciding whether Moreno was onside or not and didn't overule the ref for a stone wall penalty, as they 'didn't want to knock his confidence'. It's about making the right decision...not protecting your colleagues.
  3. Heck takes my money when I'm in need Yeah, he's a triflin' friend indeed Oh, he's a cocksucker way over town That digs on me (uh)
  4. I think mcginn will start in the 6 role and Iroebunam will probably come on around 70 minutes mark if we need mcginn further forward. Most likely will be lenglet and Pau in defence as Chambers hasn't played any minutes for 4 months.
  5. No matter what happens with heck, we can't deny his tenure has been bad so far. He has alienated the fan base with a corporate money grab strategy and lack of consultation. Backtracked on north stand and badge, before later seeking to implement something worse that looks to have been done as an afterthought in 5 minutes (again without fan consultation). Now we are hearing about rumours of him mistreating staff and creating a toxic environment. It doesn't paint a great picture, even if some of the rumours are not true. There only good thing he has done is the Adidas deal, but I don't think that was a difficult negotiation, given our owner's ties with the company, upwards trajectory on the pitch and recent popularity in the media.
  6. Well it is libelous without any evidence. But as far as fans are concerned we can't unsee it, so it's done it's job
  7. We need to get a banner prepared for Heck with the message 'We aren't cocksuckers... We just don't like you'.
  8. It's not an official letter as part of an employee grievance process drafted by a solicitor, nor does it claim to be. It's written by someone who works at the club and doesn't want to get sacked, so is hoping social media pressure will get rid of heck instead of driving staff to quit the toxic environment. It will be full of conjecture, as it represents one person's opinion, so I wouldn't get too hung up about evidence around the badge. This will probably be contained in various documents and emails anyway so isn't suitable to include in the letter. Also divulging the evidence may compromise the anonymity of the writer.
  9. Maybe there is but we aren't taking that £30m gamble on the evidence so far. I'd rather see Rogers get game time, as I'm sure he will make a bigger contribution than zaniolo did in games and will help him develop.
  10. We still have Dendonker...ummm ignore that.
  11. I'd rather have Olsen at CB than Chambers!
  12. FFS. Surely Carlos's injury is made up as it isn't reported as an ACL! I'd rather have Lenglet at RCB than have Chambers on the pitch.
  13. They will be the only Gais in the West Midlands Village (according to Little Britain and Pro Evo).
  14. 5th best player in the championship this season with a rating of 7.48, according to whoscored.
  15. I bet you are right laugh at parties! We are only 1pt behind 4th and have lost Kamara to injury. Most of the other injury absentees are either back or will be back in a few weeks. Hardly time to write off the season.
  16. They are comparable, as both resulted in their legs landing on the ground in a way where the knee is not supported. Looking at the position Kamara's leg was in at the time of the injury I'd highly doubt many footballers would come away from that without serious injury. As for coming back and able to perform at the same level then that is a different thing. A lot of players don't seem to be able to play the same as before, but I guess that depends on their role. Skillful attackers will be more impacted, as there is more strain on their knee from the quick twisting and turning, while a CB isn't as effected. So I'd worry more for Buendia than Mings or Kamara.
  17. Mings's and Kamara's ACL injuries were the result of them losing their footing and their entire bodyweight putting pressure on the knee. No training programme or squad management strategy can prevent that from happening. Down to bad luck.
  18. I would have thought that he will be out for over 1 month at least. But I agree it doesn't look anywhere near as bad as Mings's, as he was stretched off and in absolute agony. Kamara walked off, albeit in some discomfort.
  19. Sick of it! Lose so often to them. It doesn't matter how bad their team play it's the same result.
  20. We have been the better team since the goal but just can't find the final pass. I feel like we will get some opportunities in the second half to get a goal or 2.
  21. I want to see him run onto the pitch just as the set piece is being taken and score with a diving header at the back post.
  22. Attack will be the best form of defence today, although chance creation might be tougher with Casimiro and Mainoo in midfield. Bring back the days of Fred and Mctominey! That front 4 will be pressing high which is also going to cause issues with Carlos and lenglet in defence. It's really got the feel of the Newcastle and Chelsea games in how it is going to play out. I hope I'm wrong.
  23. They have developed that annoying habit of finding a way to get a result at the last minute.
