  1. If you are in Ireland you can manually tune sky to the below frequency to get BBC Scotland. 10788.00 V DVB-S2 8PSK 23000 3/4
  2. Be careful of wishful thinking. The truth is we don't know much of what is happening at this stage. I wouldn't put too much store on China's abstention right now since they also did this during the annexation of Crimea. It's only been a short time since the invasion began, so to say Russia hasn't rolled over the whole of Ukraine this morning does not show their invasion is bogged down. I do hope the Russians pull back but I can't see them doing that without inflicting as much damage as possible first in order to bring all the cards to the negotiation table and partition the country.
  3. That was amongst the most obviously wrong decisions I've seen. At any point did they think who ran into who?
  4. My observations after what really was a game of two halves. Ramsey has the ability to drive with the ball that I feel we lack from others (I really like him and he is going to get better). Watkins form has fallen off a cliff but I am optimistic that he will find a higher level. Beundia had a huge game. He really delivered today and I loved that glancing header that against another keeper would have gone in. Digne was excellent going forward and I look forward to seeing what he can do once he settles. Martinez picked himself up nicely after his mistake which is a quality I really like. Can't believe more people didn't give Coutinho MOTM. He pulled 2 goals back against Man Utd. Even sweeter after a Man Utd fan in work said he would be a flop.

    The NSWE Board

Don't get me wrong we are ultimately lucky compared to 99% of other clubs in our current owners. It just feels worse I suppose because everything seemed so rosy. Who knows though this move could also prove to be genius. As ever as a Villa fan... fingers crossed.

    The NSWE Board

I hope our owners are not turning into another Randy Lerner. Good intentions but ultimately not able or willing to fund a big push towards the top.
  7. Nervous of course. I have put a bet on Hause to score because he is so good at heading in set pieces. Could give us an edge.

    Tickets

Maybe you could try an agent like I did if you fancy a hotel for the night in the package.

    Tickets

I went this way last year (boxofficeevents) and it had no hospitality included and was in a neutral area

That is my understanding of it. Seems a no brainer for me next year.

    Tickets

I'm definitely getting a claret membership and a cub next season. I booked with an agency since i am coming from Ireland it made perfect sense. Their cheapest offer was 385 euro for a club wembley seat in villa end and a one night stay in a 3 star hotel in london. We are staying 2 nights so i can fully enjoy it. I haven't booked with them before but they are an Irish company and have good reviews. Do some research before buying to make sure it's all above board.
  12. I want to bring my 12 year old son to this one. How do we get two seats together if we are both eligable.
  13. Seems ok but haven't gotten tickets in my hand yet. They told me I would get them Thursday. Bought 2 villa bronze club Wembley.
  14. I paid for 2 tickets last night. I will let you know how it goes.
  15. Is the link above to a valid company? I need to get two tickets together early because I'm bringing a child and we need to travel overseas. I assume we can wear club colours as in villa club Wembley section.
  16. Both his parents are Irish. I think we are going to win this one by two goals.
  17. Can anyone head into Murray's? You don't need a ticket do you?
  18. I wonder did Ramblers claret and blue kit have any influence on your choice? I got into Villa through seeing them play on tv and thinking hmmm I like the style of this team, stadium looks amazing and finally... feck they've got Paul McGrath! Going through school was interesting with the banter of how the season was going. In my group of friends there was an Everton, a Leeds and a Notts Forest fan so I'd say we were an odd bunch amongst the Liverpool and Man Utd herd. My time as a villa fan has seen some memorable highs and in fairness not so many lows rather mid table anonymity. This feels like the most exciting time I've experience in following this club. I didn't even contemplate a downside of being labelled a glory hunter and frankly I would relish such an insult if it meant Villa were flying high. I love what Lerner and MON have brought to the club. It reminds me of why I went for Villa in the first place and the joy it is to follow not just the team and results but the sense of a club with a proud and distinct history reclaiming it's place in the footballing world.
