  1. But they are. People criticize the off the field stuff and rightly so. In any company, in any field, being a shambles in one department inevitably affects all others in due time.
  2. Someone who wants readabil... oh wait.. Someone who wants scalabi .. ok, let me try again .. Someone who wants to moderni... ok well , will some drop shadow effect help?
  3. I'd really hope so, because it would at least show a level of competency we've not come to expect. Not holding my breath though, tbh.
  4. Sure, they could also write the name as AsToN ViLlA to complete the late 90s message board style.
  5. Meh disagree. They wouldn’t have played with 10 men had he been on loan. It wasn’t a great piece of skill, it was shambolic defending, someone else would have scored, who cares.
  6. Or maybe they’re inept. Hmm.. I know which way I’m leaning.
  7. I’m not so sure, not because he’s a bad player but because nowadays most teams play systems with a single striker and this isn’t one of Archer’s strengths. He works better with a partner up front, which has become so rare in the premier league. I imagine this is part of the reason why Unai was OK letting him go.
  8. So, if true, they way I understand it is that Sheff U have paid about 9 mil for Archer. If they stay up they pay another 9 mil and the Villa keep a buyback option of, say 30 mil for the duration of the contract. If they go down they don't pay the second installment and instead Villa pay them 7 mil to get him back, which would make it a glorified loan for a 2 mil fee. Sounds like a clever way to do business.
  9. Decent business. I image there’d be some clauses for a mil or two more if they are promoted and/or perhaps a sell on %.
  10. We probably owe West Brom some %.
  11. What’s up with Milan looking at our reserves? Sell them Bertie instead.
  12. What a goal that was! He meant every bit of it too.
  13. That goal happened after he was subbed off.
  14. They were all visibly tired, even McGinn. Only the three points matter. Job done. Now they better get some good rest.
  15. Not a fan at all tbh, would much rather that Rowe kid from Norwich but I don’t think we’ll be shopping in the championship.
  16. Exactly. Genuinely not sure what the rules are anymore.
  17. Let me try. Pick one or more : It's not shit, that's just your opinion That's exactly how it should look You just don't understand Because you only see a part of it, wait until you see the whole thing it'll be great, promise It's not made for your generation, younger generations love pixelated images Do you work in design? No? Thought so Other clubs don't use pixelated text and you don't want to copy other clubs, do you? It's not even the real crest, relax
  18. Not just you, no. 3 different fonts in a single image and 3 different colours of letters. Professional...
  19. Certainly not. Unless you think you've done a terrible job and are looking to cut losses. If you're confident in the good job you've done that's not a viable strategy, especially for a demanding audience.
  20. I like Dewsbury-Hall as a do it all sort of a midfielder who could cover 2 or 3 positions, probably won’t demand to start every game and would cost half as much as someone like Gallagher.
  21. Eh it’s not true though, is it? The hilarious part was how bad it is, whatever it is supposed to be, and some were afraid the actual badge would be in a similar style. I know very few of us could actually recognize what it said with that late 90s font but those who did surely did not think the actual badge would include ‘150’, or 500, or whatever.
