I remember when Mon came in he found his coaching better & Bouma said under Dol he didn't really have a clue what was expected of him. He worked well behind young that's for sure, centre half that could play left back. Loved him, such a beast.

Cambisssso is a boss, maybe the games you saw he had off days. But you don't play for real/inter (when they were a top side) if your were ordinary.

He does maintain that once we get Ayew/prob Adebayor if the budget allowed we'll go for another forward. Keeper/Holgate/midfielder/Adebayor/younger forward

Nixon think we are still after another 5 once Ayew is done. Keeps mentioning Holgate so maybe Man U are still undecided & we are willing to sign.

He has a heart like a lion, but his defending, to me, always looks a bit last ditch, all or nothing. I think he looks like a defender from yesteryear. Retro, you might say.I thought we were selling him, now your saying he is coming back in a big way? He's a reaction defender, doesn't really read the game all that well but has the ability to get himself out of trouble with his "all on the line" approach

Who are the three rightbacks? We have Hutton & Richards has been signed to play centre back. So if you take Richards out we have 1 recognised rightback.

If we got Adebayor/Ayew/Cambiasso/another centre mid (see Carroll link again) I'd be happy. bonus signing for me would be a young rightback, Nixon still seems to think we could end up with Holgate.

While I agree about them upping the fee we can't just "move on" every time there maybe some difficulty in negotiations, we'll never sign anyone if we do that. We won't pay anymore what we feel he is worth that's for sure.

I'll be hugely worried if we play 442 this season, I'm hoping it'll be 433 with Canbiasso or Sanchez holding. Still think we need a CB/x2 midfielders/2-3 forwards.

I think it'll be 4-4-2 but hoping that's not what he's planning to play this season.

Sounds like the club have done a Delph on him DAD = Done A Delph In all fairness to him you can understand why he's kicking off, he's just using the media to force his clubs hand. He's over here & I can't see it falling apart. No disrespect to Lorient but it's a massive step up....also I'm loving that he has his heart set on coming here, made so nice comments about us! Nice to see we are still held in such regard by someone outside the country.

Another Bomb squad will probably be formed, think we will struggle to shift a lot of these players. Richardson is an ok squad player for now, I wouldn't get rid just because of his versatility. It's been reported Sherwoods a fan of Bennett, which isn't good news.

Another one from Nixon... @reluctantnicko:gk unknown, rb Holgate, midfield up for grabs, strikers Ayew, Adebayor plus one 6 players if you go with that. Does say Holgate been at Man U a week but not offered a deal as yet.
