When he's at it he's full of himself, the more we see of that the better...that wouldn't be a bad thing for some of the guys in the squad to pick up on. He clearly knows he has ability so let's hope the coaching staff can get him playing well if we get him. Let's say we go with today's reports are we do in fact bring in Adebayor/Ayew/Gestede...so that the end of Kozak? Two big buys in the team being Ade & Gestede/Ayew & Gabby as the smaller quicker forwards. Are we really going to sign 3 forwards?

To be honest, Tim doesn't strike me as the type of person who could give a toss about a players ego. Doesn't take crap. Fully agree, if he was able to get Adebayor on side I'm sure he can handle Ayew. You can imagine Sherwood from the off telling players what he expects & if they aren't showing that it'll be delt with.

Signing attacking players has to be the priority at the moment otherwise we are getting relegated. I am aware of this. Don't really see how this relates to what I've posted. I'm assuming the post I quoted was referring to the posts about whether it was £ or €, value for money is definitely an important part of the game now esepcially with FFP. Hence why there is so much discussion about the prices we are paying for players. Because we don't have a bottomless pit of money and there are other areas we need to strengthen. None of us know what the budget is. No but it is fairly clear it isn't a bottomless pit so what we spend and getting value is important. Exactly. I think the reported fee for Ayew is pretty much on point with the current market...seems to be some conflicting reports on weather the bid was made in Euros or Pounds. You'd think Euros I guess. What I mean by people worrying over fee was meant that if they fit are budget/FFP/whom Sherwood sees doing a job for us I don't really care what the fee/wages are.

For a struggling side the stats are fine, he he did that here in his first season I'd be pretty please. He's only 23, room to develop still.

That makes me sad, if we signed Cambiasso I'd actually cream myself. The guy is a legend and one of my favourite players ever and he showed he is still class last season. Please make it happen Villa I'm hopeful but with the sun running the story then Nixon saying he's likely to retire it's really rather conflicting
