Stuff of nightmares. At least we can’t be bottom at Christmas. Don’t we have a horrendous record playing on Boxing Day too? I’m confused as to what has gone wrong, I mean it was pretty optimistic, it didn’t have the feel of the relegation season we had a few years ago. I don’t know. Smith needs to pick his best 11 and stick with it, there isn’t any consistency, he doesn’t make simple changes in the game, yesterday El Ghazi was having so much possession down the right in the 1st half now if Smith swapped him and Jack when he’d seen this it would of been a different game, it would of confused the Sheffield United players, we are so predictable and must be so easy to play against. Hopefully we play a strong team in midweek and get some confidence back quickly or we will find ourselves bottom at Christmas.

With most the ball down the right I don’t understand why he did swap with anwar, he would have much more of the ball and el Gazi would be more suited to attacking the ball in the area Jack provides.

Yeah he does, I read collymore had said the same thing and said he’d coach him for free although he wasn’t a hard hold up player but he said Heskey or Carew would also do it which would be great. The problem is we are not picking up any points at all against the big teams and that makes our games against the lower teams such more important to win and that builds pressure. We are not good under pressure.

On a serious note. Maybe that is the problem, we need someone like Grant Holt.... to coach Wesley. In McGinn’s interview the other day he said the defenders go off with JT, the midfielders with Smith and the forwards with O’kelly, now I don’t know much about Richard O’Kellys playing career but I’m guessing he was a forward, but looking at the size of him I doubt he was a hold up type of player and can coach what they want Wesley to do in the same manor. Someone like Holt would be perfect to coach Big Wes.
