There was many many reasons you could point at for Bruce to go but in your point 2 half of your list come down to how we play so it was the biggest issue. No plan b? Not beating top sides? Poor runs? All down to us being a very negative boring rigid side. After 16 months most wondered if he could change it. Bruce having a go a team the fans about hysteria just got people’s back up and showed he thought it was ok how we were playing. Luckily he seems to have found the secret.

I’m sure all at Villa are aware of the mistakes in that game. It should spur them on really.

If we continue the way we are currently I don’t see why we can’t get up to what’s Wolves achieved in the first half of the season. On paper we’ve only got 2/3 tough away games and with our home form we’d fancy beating anyone. It’s nice the players are starting to talk about acheiving this year. Wasn’t people’s biggest bone of contention the way we played. Setting up negatively no tempo more worried about not losing than trying to win? Low and behold we start playing football and our players look a lot better. Something most have said. We’ve individually got some of the best players in the league but were getting beat by better teams. Recently we’ve looked far better as a team and the results have flowed. That’s why I wanted Bruce to go because I thought we could play better under better management but we’ve turned it around. Bruce brought in Agnew and he seems to have kick started our attacking play. I think most fans set out why they wanted Bruce to leave so trying to point score when most points were valid is petty. We are still below were I think we should be and would’ve been if we’d played like we are now all season. Let’s hope it continues. We all want us to go up.

He’s a young kid who will have ups and downs and We’ve been playing him out of position. I’d rather play our kids and give them the same leeway to have awful games. I think if he could play at a tempo he’d a decent CM but he looks lacklustre at times but as I say he’s never bombed for what ever reason. We initially got him because of Grealish being injured apparently but he’s back now so either drop him deeper or let him go. I’d rather Green be back up winger and OHare back up 10. As I says Green is fully fit now and flying so let’s see if they’d get picked on merit

When Calderwood came in last year we became quite boring and solid but we lost an attacking spark. Agnew seems to have ignited that but we haven’t lost our solidity. Hopefully we can keep getting the balance right. We had one of the best defences last season Aswell now hopefully aganew can get us being one of the best attacking sides.

To be fair no one knows what our kitty will be. I’d say £100m would have to be the minimum on 4/5 1st team players then a bit more on squad fillers. Promotion as a minimum is worth £200m over 3/4 years. If we buy players that will have resale value we would be fine spending big lump

As long as the majority of players are signed for the start of preseason it shouldn’t matter. Getting a proven PL goalscorer should be first priority.

It’s what I think. I’ve never claimed to have evidence. It’s a common factor in Ioan deals as clubs want there youth to play. I highlighted the fact he’s never dropped from the match Day squad even after stinking the place out. I think you need to understand what involved means. In my OP I said he should play in his natural position or let him go as for me he’s isnt good enough further forward but looks promising deeper. We have an abundance of youth players all fit who can do what he’s done in an attacking role. I’d rather try them. Cardiff have to play the lad from Liverpool in 14 games from now on no matter how bad he plays if we have any clause like that send him back. If Bruce is sticking with him even when he’s out of sorts that’s wrong as he could easily use our kids and give them the same leeway. Green is now fully fit and firing so it’ll be interesting who gets picked next week.
