Isn’t it? Davis got in through injury. Bree got dropped after a nil nil and others we’re fit. OHare has hardly had a kick. He played Birkir DM on Saturday instead of Doyle Hayes who did well last time he started. He even dropped Jack for Onomah recently and even though he has been atrocious at times he always plays. Saying it’s not other true means nothing. Can you back it up?

I think we need a long winning run to get some points in the bank for the tough end to season we have.

The Bristol performance is more of a one off than the yesterdays thats the issue. Hopefully we will see more Bristol’s from now on with Forest being the next. As you say we’ve got a good run coming up with 4 winnable games up next and we need to take maximum points.

He should’ve started yesterday. We know what Davis can do and after Bristol assume Hogan will start upfront so why not try a similar striker to see if we can play the same way. Davis and Hogan are chalk and cheese.

I’m baffled how someone who never went can argue with someone who did about a players performance. OHare looked very livey first half and was once of our best players IMO. he deserves a place on bench he said one of the only highlights from the game but we probably won’t see him again.

We all know the FA Cup is probably not winnable but most fans are not moaning about exit more in the manner of the defeat. Experimenting for me is playing Suliman CB or Doyle Hayes in DM 2 kids that’s could have big futures in those postions. Playing Onomah as DM could even be experimenting as these are things you may try in the season. Birkir will never play DM again. I did ask before but which player should let the fans down? For me none of those brought in did. Bruce had a mare today I just hope he doesn’t overthink for next week.

Well today according to Bruce we played a pressing style. We flit between styles in games for me we aren’t one or the other and aren’t that good a team either. What players let Bruce down? RDL and OHare played well. Bree did ok at CB. Birkir isn’t that good when played in his normal position which I think is left attacking mid yet he’s started at DM.The worst player on th pitch was Onomah yet he played the whole game. Lansbury came on and is an attacking midfielder yet he played DM aswell. Bruce made bad decsion after bad decision today epecially in not making substitutions earlier. Every body there could see them scoring. I’m sure the 17k fans that bothered today feel very similar to me. Going out is bad but the way we did is a joke.

A full strength team was abysmal v Brentford. This team was awful v Peterborough. Our football in most games isn’t good. What happens on the training ground? We don’t have a style. That’s why we struggle. The squad doesn’t have one way of playing. Bruce has said they’d never did what he said. That’s on him if he’s cant get a message across. Onomah was awful yet never got took off. What does he see? Forest is way more important I agree but we’ve been totally outplayed by a high tempo footballing team again and that’s a worry. Bristol looks like the one off not today’s result.

Can we at least sub him when he’s awful?? It’ll be interesting if he starts next week. If so there’s definitely a clause!!

The bloke isn’t bollocks as his career shows as do his performances for Iceland. He’s being badly managed as since being here he has played everywhere. Today he started DM. Bruce bought him and has no idea how to play him. Oh and Veretout is doing really well in Italy now which I reckon Birkir will be come february.

Bruce treats other clubs youngsters better than he does our own.

Which players? Bree who played CB? RDL? OHare? Who played well. Onomah was awful yet always gets picked. Birkir is attacking midfielder yet gets pushed every where. Who actually blew there chance? Did you go to the game?

We made 10 changes today but the way this team was set up was a joke. Birkir at DM? Starting with 2 RB’s? Bruce talked all week about trying kids out but the only new thing we saw was a rare OHare start. Bruce will come out and use excuses but we’ve had more performances like today than we have Bristol City. His substitutions were awful. Wrong people taken off at the wrong time. We were totally outplayed and ive no idea what Onomahhas to do to get subbed.

Our home form will decide where we finish now. If we attack like we did against Bristol we will get automatic. Let’s hope this is the start of the football we want to see.

Lyden is just unlucky. He’d have been involved now if not injured. It goes that way for some footballers a player I had big hopes for will probably leave in summer a season he’s 23 I think and needs 1st team football. Bruce only gives youth a chance when it’s last resort but with our kids we need to trust them. We need a DM but that’ll show Bruce got it wrong in the summer so he probably won’t do it.

I think you’re right but I hope you’re wrong. If we are to go up we need to play the the tempo we did against Bristol every game I don’t think think we can with Jedi and Whelan doesn’t seem to allow us to. That’s my biggest concern. Also if we all thought we only needed Ulloa this thread would be dead. Those are the 2areas I’d try to improve. CF a big lump and another lump but more mobile in Cm

Sorry thought this was a speculations thread.

Why? It’s our weakest position for me and our most vital. Whelan seems to slow us down and Jedi will struggle to play the there every week. We should’ve signed a better player than Whelan so if we can now we should.

Id prioritise a Big mobile dm over anything. Jedinak with legs and energy basically as that does allow the others more freedom like yesterday.

Let’s hope this is the start of things to come and not a one off. We’ve got the players but Bruce hasn’t been getting a tune out of them I just hope it’s a change in philosophy and we won’t go back to the turgid crap once some players are fit.

Bruce's problem and he’ll revert to it is he picks his experi nice day favourite regardless of form. He hasn’t the bottle to upset old pros. Injuries force him to try other players more than anything else. Elphick being a prime example. We won yesterday but let’s not get carried away just yet.

My point is Bruce got us into this mess.
