In the first half Petrov and Clark never got forward both sat deep and never pushed on until the 2nd half. This must have been Mcleish plan for the game so he was negative to start in the 2nd half petrov bombed on and created the equaliser. All most fans want is us to have a go from the start not wait until we have too. Against the top 4/5 being defensive is allowed not against the likes of QPR at home. If he can't get over his fear of losing he will never win over the fans. even Blues fans think he is negative but not losing was good enough for them. It isn't for me.

In the first half we played with both Petrov and Clark as defensive midfielders. Neither of them would push on so it must have come from mcleish. In the 2nd half petrov was making runs all over the place and causing problems. why can't we start like this? if Mcleish went out to attack from the beginning most people would be happy with where we are and how things are shaping up BUT he seems to be scared to try. We can't defend a 1 nil lead so might aswell attack. The 2nd half showed we can have a go. At home thats the least we should expect. If he hasn't the guts or the know how to do this it could be a long end of season. I can't see us getting anything in our next 2 games but i would hope we have a go and don't roll over and try to keep the scores down. Then we have 2 massive away games. Should be fun!!!! UTV

We have sold roughly 2500 tickets so far. We have took the usual 3000 league allocation first. They are making decisions on the extra ones as and when so i can't see us taking 9000 i just hope we take the 5000. Otherwise the good will of free travel will be messed up by people not getting tickets!!

General Some people don't know when they are having it so good. People used to camp out for days to get wembley tickets now a computer does it for you. EVERY ST is guaranteed a seat so as long as i can see the pitch i don't care where i sit because Villa are going to Wembley for the first time in a decade. I think the way the club has tried to distribute the tickets is a good way. Computers do crash.Simple. If any ST gets a ticket in place they don't want to sit i am sure they can find someone who will willingly take it off their hands. So every stop moaning and enjoy the success we are having. God only knows the reaction of some people if we make the FA Cup Final as the allocation is even less!!!! Anyway rant over. I am personally glad we have Man Utd and not City as it would be good to see a certain ex players reaction when Stan leads the team to glory. What do you make of getting Utd or would you have preferred City? UTV
