There's really no positive thing to look forward to at the moment except the chance of a complete clear out once the season ends. If I was Remi I would literally have my resignation ready by the morning. Everything about this match was a slap in the face to anyone that has stuck it out to this point and going forward.

His transfer policy and management kept us in the league. It's really not surprising we have become a car crash after he left. Benteke's health basically coincided with Sherwood's run as has been stated ad nauseam. Everyone involved in the club over the last few years harbors some blame for where we are but for goodness sake don't start beating this dead horse again.

This was very likely our last big chance to clutch at straws for the season. Honestly, with the supposed financial state that we are in I can only hope the board goes for strong Championship players in January and Summer windows. I can deal with a season down as long as we get straight back up. Taking punts on overpriced players in January when we are 99% likely to go down anyways would put is with the likes of Leeds and Portsmouth.

My feelings exactly. And Villan4Life, way to overgeneralize man. I'm an ardent supporter of the USMNT and I can tell you that I am in complete agreement that Guzan has not been good enough for awhile now. I know plenty of other fans like myself that are of the same opinion. Internet comments are the last place you should be referring to make a point.

Geez once the doom and gloom circlejerk gets started it's impossible with you guys. Just wait until the match ends to flip out. I don't understand how this lineup is so difficult to understand.

And the only sensible approach in getting results is not letting the other team score goals. We concede early and let the game slip early on. This lineup serves to achieve a slow buildup. Veretout is going to be at the tip of the diamond where he was most successful at Nice.

None of those 3 offer anything in defense. At least Ayew and Sinclair track back. We have conceded early goals in almost every match it seems so again this seems like a sensible lineup.

Personally, I like this lineup. Everyone calls for Gestede to be dropped and as soon as he is they're onto b*tching about something else.

He was awful yesterday. Couldn't track a man to save his life and fell asleep multiple times. If it's between him and Westwood there's really no comparison imo. Sanchez will have 1 decent game and go on a 4 game run of shite.

Both of those goals were extremely nice. Would much rather see him given a run with Ayew in a 2 man partnership.

The opposing teams tactics are so simple every week. Attack down the right. We are in dire need of a true LB.

My faith in Ciaran Clark has halved in this game. Okore and Richards going forward.

It was only a matter of time. They've carved out the channels of the defense on at least 5 occasions and luck bailed us out.

I can't completely disagree with this but I think Veretout will come good and it's probably better to get him up to standard on the field instead of the bench.

Lescott, Gabby, Bacuna, Sinclair, Richardson, and Sanchez should barely be making the 18 let alone the 11. I was shocked when I saw the team selection, we basically handed this game to Spurs.

He's a glue player and every squad no matter the sport needs a glue player. He was basically playing his and Gana's position against Stoke. Absolutely laughable the criticism he gets on here. It shows a complete lack of understanding of the game.
