  1. #AVFC: Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Clark, Baker, Bertrand, Westwood, Delph, Albrighton, Agbonlahor, Weimann.
  2. Not feeling confident at all. All I want, or should I say all WE want is Villa to come back. Show some character, some passion, anything. Just a sign that at least one player wearing our beloved crest on their hearts wants this club to succeed. I want somebody, anybody (even if that somebody turn out to be Baker) to step up tomorrow and guide Villa to safety. Stay up the Villa.
  3. My fav player! So yeah you could say i like him..
  4. Please be at your very best tomorrow.
  5. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-prime-minister-says-7064520 Prime Minister David Cameron quipped today that he would try and get his rich Arab friends to make a bid for his beloved Aston Villa.
  6. Both Weimann and Gabbys first touch is just catastrophic.. My 6 years old cousin has a better first touch then them..
  7. Every friday the AVFC website upload pictures of the training and Janoi is one of the players always in those pictures. He looks like a tank o.O Would love to see what he can do next season and in the pre-season matches. Can't be worse then Baker can he?
  8. I'm more excited about the Holtby interest but imagine Benteke alongside Chicharito? A poacher and a target man. Reminds me of the partnership of Carew and Gabby as his best! But having Holtby in our club would be amazing! He should be our number one target IMO..
  9. "Javier Hernandez is reportedly a key transfer target for Aston Villa in the summer. The Daily Mail reports that Aston Villa will up their ambitions in the summer and the 25-year-old Manchester United striker has been identified as a perfect player to add to the Villa Park ranks. The Mexican forward has been on the fringes at Old Trafford for some time, he has a record of 59 goals in 150 games since joining the club in 2010. Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby is also a target. Would you want these two players at Villa Park?" http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/aston-villa-rumour-mill-javier-7056902 You can also read about it on AVFC website!
  10. Toney for Weiman or as one of you said Callum on for Weiman. Why Baker starts instead of Clark is a mistery. Is it really because of his heading ability witch to be honest is not that good..
  11. Delph vs De Guzman, hope to see Delph on top! UTV.
  12. Let's just hope we don't end up being a rich Reading look-a-like team, I just want a new owner with passion for the club, a owner who shows up and support the club! Yes a lot of money is always welcome but for me being there and actually try and make things better is the most important thing. I love watching the Wigan owner. He really loves the club and I always get a smile on my face when I see him celebrate on TV!
  13. One step at the time, first step being BPL survival! Stay Up The Villa!!
  14. Really need to step up against Soton, hope to see him score a cracker again!!
  15. I love Villa so much, just as everybody else here. Looking forward to the game and really hoping to see one of those fantastic and energetic performance we'v had this season. Even though everything even my own brain is telling me a Southampton win is to expect, I can't stop my heart from believing in the lads and hoping for a win! Stay Up The Villa and make us proud this season!! P.S I know that those energetic performances hasen't been many but still!
  16. His first touch and sometimes stupidity annoys me but at the same time his will and "working your socks off" attitude is the reason you hope and want him to succeed in the Villa shirt..
  17. Con I get your point and that players with higher weight would get more tired. I remember Barry having a hard time in South Africa even thought the majority if England's matches being played in the afternoon. But putting Henderson and Barkley in the same category is just stupid. Barkley is an offensive player but does his defensive duties when needed and Henderson literally covers every yard every game. Same goes for Delph. Milner is also a player known for his work rates and could easily run 90 minutes. With that said, who knows maybe even Delph, witch you are considering as the best of them all stamina wise, would have the power to run 90 minutes in Brazil. I love Delph and would love him to be in the England squad but there are still one or two players with both better reputation and attributes and he knows it himself.
  18. Watching Soccer Saturday and they just voted over who would be in the England squad at the moment between Cleverley and Delph, they all picked Delph! LISTEN ROY LISTEEEEEEEEEN.
  19. I have also heard him say things about the club believing in him even though he was injured witch means he "owes" us. But to be honest even if he get a better offer from another club I don't think Delph will ever leave Villa. He seems to be a Villa through and through in my eyes.. I really hope he signs a new contract soon but at the same time I'm not worried as something is telling me he will stay with us!
  20. Both sides will come into the game in confident mood after impressive wins last time out, though Stoke's away record is dismal, winning just once away from the Britannia Stadium all season. - From the website WhoScored.com I really hope this continues, another Villa win would be fantastic!
