Hate Spurs, closing down Townsend and pressing high is our only chance. Also need to worry about Eriksen and Delph is going to track back a lot to help Luna with Townsend and Walker!

Delph has a really hard shooting on him! For some reason he never takes shot unless there is no other option. Delph is usually in a good area outside the 18 yard and could easily take a shot!

We need to be a bit more aggressiv when pressing. Most of our players run towards the man with the ball and then just stand still watching him make his move. Luna is really bad at pressing but those times he runs the whole way something good comes out if it! We played like Cardiff does against arsenal and that worked really well! Delph and KEA are among the players pressing high and actually trying to put a foot in against the opposition! With that said, Kozaks 10 goals in Europa League came from crosses or penalties. Don't get me wrong I like him but he needs to more active, at least come down to middle of the pitch to get som passes when the opposition is pressing high, a bit like Carew did (miss him so much). Kozak would be scoring on a regular basis if we were playing with Young and Downing on the flanks. Gabby and Weiman are both big fans of cutting inside the field rather than putting a cross in! Can't blame them though because they work hard every game and I love them both, I love the whole team! Up the Villa against Spurs! I believe in Kozak and I believe in Lambert!

My idol, after years of injuries his finally showing why we bought him. Reason for him being my idol is that we share the same career in some way. I'm 19 years old and just when I was being called to our first team here in my boyhood club in Sweden (at the age of 16) I got injured and after one and half year injured I'm finally finding my way back and just got called to out first team again. I love Delph and his passion for football. Really happy that I got the opportunity to meet him!

Why isn't Bacuna taking free kicks / corners after so many awful attempts by Westwood?

He reminds me of Peter Crouch, not because of his hight, but because of his dribbling style. Slow legs (and pace) but for some reason I always get excited when seeing him coming to field. Hope to see more of him!

I've watched every interview, every video and even met him irl. This guy is one of the most simple, ethnical and nicest guy i ever met! In a interview on AVTV they asked him what he would be doing if not playing football and he didn't know, he likes boxing witch reflects a bit on his tackling attitude, but with that said. I think he loves his surroundings here in Villa and the captaincy is ther for him to take!

I love you Delph, yet another great display! Yes he made some mistakes but worked his socks off. Although the moment Yaya got passed him in the box made me piss myself..

Confident on the ball and did his job properly. Could have gone all the way instead of passing it back to Kozak late on but in overall a good performance!

Starting today!!!

Watching Villa playing is the highlight of my week and not only this week but all of the weeks! Yes we haven't always played "beautiful" football but I love watching us anyway! Travelled to Birmingham for the first time for the Liverpool game and I really enjoyed myself. Such a beautiful stadium and although people criticise The city of Birmingham I still managed to have a good time and enjoy myself!

I had nothing better to do on a Monday evening to watch the PL and I noticed something very interesting. Liverpool were amazing 55 minutes with Coutinho running all over the place and always, ALWAYS, shouting for the ball and he even came down to the center halfs sometimes to just pick up the ball and start a new attack. Coutinho did one or two slick dribbles and a lot of 1-2-1-2 with other players. Now after he got injured Liverpool suddenly became Villa against Newcastle. No movement, nobody who wanted the ball and they just played awful. You may ask yourself where is this topic going? Well I thought a lot of the responsibility that Coutinho took for himself was just as Delph. Delph is always looking for the ball and against Newcastle he had som very successfull 1-2-1-2 passes wich eventually led to the Luna opportunity (wich he for some reason just threw away..) and also every time our wingers/wingbacks got the opportunity to cross the ball was because of the chaos Delph starting at the middle of the park. Long story short, yes we all know that a AMF is missing but IMO Delph has every attribute needed to be just that for us!

Delph best player on the pitch for us, hate to see us just throw away opportunities like that. I´m from Sweden and Villa played worse than a shit team in the Swedish league. And Luna omg, he never pressured Ben Arfa at any time. I love Delph and even the bad game and bad result I´m looking forward to the Norwich game. VILLA TIL I DIE!!!

Fabian Delph the only player actually trying. KEA has been awful and Luna have forgotten how to defend. Awful half overall. Our clueless long balls remind me of the Stoke topic...
