    ? Their 1st goal when we were playing it out from the back ? The 2nd goal caught in no man's land ? The disallowed goal where he was yet again out of position causing all kinds of panic ? His 'save' with his arm looked more like he was calling for offside than trying to save it, he was gash and spread panic in the defence, as he 95% of the time does.

    Olsen was utter gash as per 95% of his time here. Some terrible performances tonight Diaby Watkins Olsen Doug Very under par. Went almost as bad as under Gérard in that 2nd half, couldn't string 2 passes together bar 2 times. That's terrible. We get a point, a valuable point but Jesus, how to throw away a game from a commanding position. Basic football should have been enough to see us home and dry. Clearly have eyes on the semi final but for me I would rather have the aussie keeper in goal than ololsenlitrrally zero faith in him, his lack of common sense or actual positioning.

    We need 2 more goals, ideally 51st minute and then slow it down then pop another in the 75th and then I will relax If we can score more after that I would be jolly happy Obviously I don't care as long as we win but seeing a cherry on the cake would be nice

    Yes, to eventually attach to the new north stand, pull them away while demolition at end of next season, add them back for new season while rebuilding. Limits loss when we do rebuild as there would be an extra 3000 seats at a guess more than nothing in the end and gives us 3000 more seats until the rebuild.

    I'm pissed and had an amazing thought without much thought Retractable seating on the corners of the north stand ( like train rails so they can be moved away from the ground when we do expand the north stand). So build the tracks , add in the stands each side, that instantly adds extra seating. Then later Knock down north stand ( retract the sides so they are safe) rebuild north stand and then move the side seats so level with new north stand once built. Less impact on gate receipts while redeveloping the north stand due to the sides being put into place once demolition is done on north stand and rebuilding is taking place. Clearly not thought it through but have polished off a bottle of e18hteen caramel rum tonight so if nothing else, that's an achievement

    The only real concern they cause is their speed. If we can stifle them and play how we can, this in theory, should be a 2-0 or 3-1 win. Would think putting doug back in and letting diaby go to the bench (or bailey) to have a midfield 3 of teilemens, doug & super john as we need to control the midfield when we win the ball back. I expect they will repeatedly hit the diagonal long pass trying to beat the offside.

    I was thinking more along the link with the CEO of coca cola, or other international brands and removing at least the names The north stand and doug Ellis stand for example The coca cola stand with heavy branding for that stand I don't care what those stands are called if we are getting substantial additional revenue

    Can see renaming of parts of the ground, the doug Ellis stand probably being the first to be sponsored and renamed. Potential for 3 of the 4 sides to be seperate sponsored ( obvs not the holte end) Generating an extra couple million at least, per stand per year would seem easily achieved if we remain in Europe.

    Need 3 more for arsenal this half and a couple cheeky yellows /niggly injuries to Chelsea key players so they are out of the villa game but ok for their remaining games.

    Had his best game in some time. the timing is perfect, if he can keep up this level to the end of the season then we could clinch 4th and a trophy.

    Some great attacking and defensive work. Went with watkins for motm but I would say the majority of the team put in a top performance that 2nd half. Diabys best game for a good while, perfect timing really. Baileys running in attack and defence and some great passes. Konsa using his pace and brains to draw fould when under pressure Torres with his attacking ability and calmess at the back Emi with a few crucial saves Watkins for his all round play They were the highlights while others still gave 7 out of 10 performances 4 more wins in the league to go and 3 in Europe please

    Have a feeling he will score a couple more goals before the season ends. His form has gone to shite and he looks ineffective and weak but we've all seen how he started the season, I think he may end the season in the same manner.

    We won Emi maintains God status, alongside the original God. I presume his official title will be God 2 Plenty wrong tonight, the result however takes precedent so will not dwell on the negatives.

    Only person to shoot so far has been Bailey and cash, when we've had a shot it either resulted in nearly going in or the goal. Maybe we should try shooting again in this last 15 ?

    Don't want to be negative , there's 30 minutes left but Konsa has been utter tripe tonight, would be swapping him out for Carlos for extra time, otherwise konsa will just keep it and do nothing with it the entire 30 minutes apart from pass it back to emi or pass it to their players.

    Some pretty dire performances in that half. The midfield can't get the ball due to konsa having 50% of all our possession and either just standing there with it or passing it back to martinez, no matter where the rest of our team are. Martinez then has to hook it clear which inevitably is towards diaby who will never win it and we give away possession. Mcginn needs to drop further back to give us some sort of hold in midfield and to bollock konsa to release a forward pass to a midfielder. I've not seen us that passive for a long time, it was not easy on the eyes. The ref has been pretty crap so far too.

    We really need all English team to win tonight and tomorrow, even if Liverpool and West ham don't go through over all. Ideally all go through no matter how unlikely

    Did fine bearing in mind the team we put out and who we played. With no mcginn / kamara in the side he was always going to be exposed against city but didn't embarass himself. A few more games starting will do him some good, we need the physical presence he brings at the moment.

    Was involved in the majority of any decent attacks we had, defended and covered well. 1 brain fart for their 2nd goal. Expecting to see teilemens get a roasting if zaniolo is after tonight. On the pitch 25 minutes and played them through on goal twice.

    Duran dropping to far deep at times but has played decent as has zaniolo. Disappointed with the wall, in fact with the free kick and the wall but we have played better than I was expecting. If we can keep a forward presence we stand a chance of grabbing a goal.

    In 2 minds about the team put out. On one hand we have Brentford on Saturday at home, a game we should be winning so protecting 3 or 4 of the first team for that. On the other hand we can't afford to lose by much if we are to lose and maybe putting out a weaker team could make the result worse than it need be. Fingers crossed we can upset them and win

    Vital he is supported for the last part of the season as he may have to play a lot more minutes than he has been getting. Looked very good yesterday, covering, blocking, passing and moving forwards. 2 good chances to score both on target and made the keeper do his job. The contributions from duran and zaniolo for goal 2 was massive.

    A solid enough display from pretty much every player. Odd sky repeatedly blamed the only wolves shot as a miss and not a save. Bizarre in fact, not at any stage in the entire game was it called a save, only a miss. Watkins off is hopefully precaution or protection rather than an injury. Duran looked decent and caused them some issues but some poor decision making or execution, zaniolo was good when he came on and could have grabbed a couple goals but for their keeper, was disciplined in attack and defence. Digne brought some stability to the left side and played well. Great goal by diaby and a fluke by konsa but from a good passage of play from winning the ball back the drive forwards the pass to diaby and then onto konsa. Very happy with the win , we just need to keep picking up the points.

    I see saka has pulled out of the England squad. No doubt he will be fully fit after the break. As much as I would like to see watkins in an England shirt, I would rather he did the same for these friendlies with ' an injury'.
