    Any player going there should be banned from playing in Europe for 12 months after a contract ends or from being loaned or sold. Too much dodgyness goings on in the land of sand. They will just weaken any team who looks to challenge the desert owners European teams.

    Unless we have more 'world stars' like martinez, or are regularly in the top 3, the 'new fans' will be people who are from a country we sign a player from, like trez or samatta. That's how arsenal have a big African following thanks to players like kanu. So if we get lots of 'new fans' then it will mean we are doing great, or signed samatta and trez again

    All for an upgrade both company wise and financially. Nothing bad about this unless it's for less money than the last shirt deal, which I bet its not.

    Looked to shoot, something most others passed up the chances to do. I imagine he gets fed up when we have numerous chances to cross the ball in for him to fight for and we play it backwards. In that aspect he has modern day fitness mixed with old fashioned forwards. He needs to remain at the club this window unless either he really is pushing for a move or we get a few million for loaning him and have a ready made forward to come in. He will learn and bond by staying for this season. It may be that he goes out on loan next season, depending how we finish this season.

    Always looked comfortable, some players still waaay off at the moment Ramsey Diabi Unfortunately Ramsey being off it makes moreno look off it, no outside movement from Ramsey who was always going inside meant no overlaps for moreno. But we won, and players got a rest. Got to be happy (relieved as well).

    Not seeing which of the ones listed is not reasonable? Oil football rumoured for digne in the summer and again now, after half a season of playing great. Already played for barca psg and villa so that ticks oil football boxes. Donker 1st team squad player / decent cb dcm option for a lower Premier league team Chambers simular to donker Sansom is playing great in France for the team in 2nd place I could see forest Brentford Luton Burnley Sheffield utd all possibly interested in donk or chambers for that sort of money.

    Difficult one, been brilliant for us this season on the pitch. It's weighing up the off the pitch side of things Potential sale for 15 / 18 million and 120k pw off the wage bill Purely from a fans view I would rather we keep him until summer and then if the Arabs will pay that sort of money, take it. Ffp makes sense to sell but the chance of top 4 and conference league is worth more for the 5 months.

    Don't get me wrong, I personally think Phillips is done at the top level, can't give you a solid reason, he just looks done. We were apparently in for Nelson last January ? Arsenal fringe player. I think if the manager and staff want someone and the money men don't run a mile, we will be in for them, no matter who they are ( please not phillips) I could imagine us signing a 28 or 29 year old this winter for average money, clearly sell on value will be not much but I feel emery wants a mix of right now and for next year. A finished article who can play exactly how emery wants for now to give instant results. And in the summer a higher cost younger player possibly In the same position.

    By far our most dominant in the air, unfortunately his on the ground work is not good enough, or certainly wasn't. At one stage only him and Fred Gilbert were the only ones physically challenging for 50/50 balls in our entire team. Those were dark days but I held alot of respect for both of them who contributed towards our here and now.

    I wouldn't dismiss anyone, we have a team of footballing experts and financial experts who will all be involved in any signings, no more scouser chancers calling their mate to play and having money thrown at them. My unrealistic hope is that 90% of emerys signings are a success for us. I fully understand the theory behind not wanting to give money for none 1st teamers but different horses for different courses. Fringe players will always be sold unless they are on stupid money, if one would strengthen our 1st 15 further, I don't care where they come from.

    Bailey has done a Dougie Came in and everyone had high hopes, massively under performs and then almost out of no where, he becomes the player we thought we had bought and becomes a top contributor to the team. Dougie did regress after lockdown slightly for a while but hasn't really out a foot wrong since, long may Baileys form stay at the top. Hopefully any contract negotiations include performance based payments, just like I hope our other player contract extensions are. At least that way, if God forbid a players form digressed then we wouldn't be stuck paying 125k pw for someone either not used or not wanted. Happy for us and happy for him that he has improved so much.

    Diaby missed more than a couple, he missed 3 or 4 big chances in the second half. He doesn't look fit and hasn't for some time. Walked almost limping in 1st half and again 2nd half. We won so all is forgiven, but something doesn't seem right with him and hasn't for months.

    Happy with the result, not overly happy we are still using certain players from the start. Injuries and suspension has cost us at least 3 points in the last 2 games so 3 today was vital. Ramsey not fit enough shouldn't be starting Lenget back to the bench please Diaby back to the bench please Torres comes on and all of a sudden we have the whole pitch we can play in. Bailey the best on the pitch by far, the only one who looked like he wanted to take them on. We need a rest and 2 good players to be brought in to help, a defensive midfielder who can pass the ball and a quick right back who can pass the ball. Well done for 2023, beyind 99% of fans imagination after the fulham away game. let's try and keep it going in 2024

    Happy with 2 -1 at half time bearing in mind some of the no shows again. Lenget eventually got a cheer in the 40th minute for actually passing the ball not backwards or in field, he's not been good at tall today and partially due to him we are totally one sided. Ramsey ? Clearly still no where near ready to start but gets the nod over zaniolo.He's doing badly yet again, and anonymous. Moreno, can't do much as lenget refuses to pass him the ball and when he did have it, over ran or made the wrong decisions. Would be far easier if lenget actually used his eyes and passed the ball to moreno as we wouldn't be so 1 dimensional. Nice to see diaby get a goal, he again hasn't looked fit.

    Shown up all of his weakenness tonight. As a sub ? Great, as a starter ? Not so sure. A poor game tonight is kind towards his display. He wasn't the only poor effort tonight , the result is thanks to 3 or 4 players not being good enough tonight and emery not sorting it out.
