  1. guys this is blackburn, one of the shittest teams in the league. our flame haired pockmark faced leader would have to have the brains of a slug covered in salt to muster a draw or defeat to blackburn i have every faith that we will win this one 3-1, with 'sir hoof alot' collins, 'im really playing for the opposition' hutton and 'shakin stevens twin brother' warnock, i cant see us keeping a clean sheet, in fact i think there is more chance of a 93 year old incontinent person with a nasty bout of IBS and a nervous disposition keeping a clean sheet than our defence however, our defence are not quite as shit as blackburns, add in our new tactic of keeping all 11 players in our keepers area for every corner or free kick should limit their free flowing attacking play so i can see a couple goals, get this... coming from corners for US, an own goal, a petrov blast and a scuffer so for once we can dance like mentalists that we have at last managed to get a win against one of the teams we are battling against for survival.
  2. a bad workman always blames his tools play gabby wide left = ineffective play hoof ball to bent = ineffective pick out of form players = ineffective pick shit tactics = ineffective our manager = ineffective can you see the pattern?
  3. well it was good while we had him, i doubt we wil get to see him play in a villa shirt again unless something major happens this summer, starting with a change in manager at least the strawberry blonde cock knocker wont need to make excuses for having his shitty heskey in the team now and hoofing it up as much and often as he likes ( which is often)
  4. i liked how in his post match speach the useless strawberry blonde bell end was saying how great our defending was at corners w had every single player back in the box for every corner i dont know of many other managers who employ such tactics, there is normally at least 1 player outside the box to pick up the ball if we do win the header i also see he picked gabby as captain, no doubt the only reason for doing that was to try and deflect shot coming his way hoping that as he picked a fans favourite to captain the club people would lay off him despite someone like given who can bark orders from the back and see the whole game in front of him, he chose gabby who he put out widde on the lef, coming back from injury and who was utter shit also like picking 'hollywood' bannan, who seems to have been trained to only hit a ball 45 yards rather than keep it on the floor with a simple pass, odd because i remember bannan used to be quite good at picking out a slide rule pass, it is like it has been trained out of him, now each pass is in the air and trying to beat 4 players. hit pass rate must be shit for a midfielder this season. gardener, didnt know to stick or twist. he couldnt go forwards because bannan wont defend, he didnt want to sit too deep because it stifles his game so he was left in no mans land yesterday sums up this twunts skills as a manager, he had several attacking players to chose from, he could use any formation he liked, any tactics he liked, shit, we were playing the worst team in the league and he plays people out of position, plays his shit tactics ruins the club every single game every single time the camera went to show him despite what ever i was doing or thinking, my hand went up to the screen and my middle finger extended, it was automatic so another game another shit performance another shit result 12 games left to hope the 5 shitter clubs dont pick up any more points after that if there is no change of manager to someone who is not **** useless i will just give up, if they show the amount of disrespect they have shown so far this season then i will find other things to occupy my time because having to watch such shit week after week and see this once great clubget dragged further and further into the gutter is making me numb.
  5. that is exactly how i am feeling now but i do give him credit for having the balls to keep trying. how has he "got the balls to kep trying"? if someone is shit at their job they keep going until they get the boot as they know getting another job will be more difficult someone good at their job but having a shit time may walk away thats because they have the confidence that they will get employment elsewhere oddly, i couldnt log on to villa talk from 12 mid day yesterday from my ip, yet i see the site wasnt down as i could log on from my phone very odd, i hope it was just a coincidence rather than people running this site trying to censor or block people who dont like the shit manager we have been lumbered with.
  6. I have said this before. Its not good is it Reading Mark Lawrensons match prediction today he has it spot on. He says Villa are not buying into McLeishs defensive approach mainly because we are not very good at the back. He goes on to say with all our attacking talent why doesnt McLeish let the team of the leash a little bit and go for it as Darren Bent will always get you goals and we have good attacking players. I think Lawro is a cock but I agree with him totally for once!!! i agree lawro is a cock
  7. not even the strawberry blonde twunt who is ruining our club at the moment is quite shit enough to manage to lose us this one it would take an effort of such shitness that is is almost unheard of which is why we we will win
  8. we are playing one of the shittest teams in the premier league, should be an easy 3 - 0 win we are very lucky to have a couple piss easy games in a row, we need to get the 6 points in the bag, which shouldnt be any kind of problem what so ever as we have wigan and blackburn, 2 of the worst teams out there. it will be nice to also not have yet another saturday night ruined by having to watch shit football and a shit result. i will make the most of these 2 games while i can, there is little else to look forwards to this season at our club.
  9. i noticed duney kicked the ball away from given when it was our goal kick, i couldnt believe what i was seing, half hour gone in the first half and were time wasting, was this an order from mcliesh? if i was manger and seen tis i would be furious i didnt see todays game but based on the piss poor excuses this ginger idiot manager we are lumbered with comes up with, he will no doubt say he was trying to get the players playing attacking football i think it was summed up in his speech about the possible protests saying about the silent majority supporting him ( bullshit) but i will try and find the quote, he said something like its my team i make it happen , or something like that. it was something which i was going to post previously, so there can be no illusions as to who sets up the team and gets them to play, he admitted it was him and him alone. im going to find the quote, it was only the other day here we go 'It's a minority and something out of my control. But the one thing I can control is the team and what effort they put in to get the best out of them because I am pretty good at that.' 10. just got back from work so couldnt see the game, we only lost 0-1 to man city? hopefully we played attacking football and used thefootball on the floor in quick fast paced passing? did cuellar go to right back so clark could slot into the middle with dunne? i bet ireland had a storming game against his old club, he will have been fired up for this one, i also bet nzog was fired up and played a blinder due to the arguments last week? hopefully they were supporting the front 2 of bent and keane with some solid play from gardner and petrov in the middle? with such an attacking team who play the ball on the floor we should have been a match for anyone? what happened?
  11. last season he won 8 games in 38 the premier league season before in the premier league won 13 in 38 the premier league season before in the premier league won 5 in 24 so then lets get an avarage for G C in the premier league played 100 won 26 oooofffff and if we add in the villa stats played 24 won 6 pretty much identical results spanning over 4 seasons 1 win in 4 near enough how is it people are still defending him? he has a worse record than DOL who got 37 wins in 3 seasons oh dear DOL = 1 win in a fraction over 3 games ( 3.08) G C = 1 win in a little under 4 games (3.85) double ooooooof he won a trophy? yep at what cost? relegation? 35 million pounds cash lost plus sponsorship plus other losses of gate receipts and so on what would you take? MON did win a trophy ? no he also never a club relegated. why would you give him more time and another season? 3 seasons and a win ratio which for 2 different teams has not changed, is more than enough evidence things wont get any better had to edit as my maths skilllz were that of a squashed frog
  12. per season? i guess if it is per season it will bring in sllightly more than the revenue generated by the money sponsors would pay for a premium brand next to their logo. its weird reading that people would rather have a shiny football top and no money rather than getting the club as much money as possible, especially as the club seem intent on 'self generating money' as long as you have your shiny shirt everything is ok though? i wonder what players name you will get on the back of your shiny new shirt? because without the money, we wont be signing anyone else. but as some people say, it doesnt matter weird
  13. yep, its how i saw it had 3 or 4 on target shots blocked or saved by the keeper or a last ditch defender flinging themselves at it looked good in the first half, when we played football, as per every game hoofball has been used, looked poor in the second half as mentioned at least 5 or 6 other times, play to his strengths ie: play football, or dont play him if you are going to deploy the hoof some comment about him not busting a gut to get onto a keane pass? i can only presume it is the one where he did a 1 -2 with keane but then got blocked by a newcastle player thus was not able to move on to the box to get into a scoring position? he is not a target man, anyone expecting him to be one i really have to question what knowledge they have of football. oddly G C seems to think of him as a target man... oh
  14. no athough as a pro G C i expect nothing but deliberate attempts to misread, i think people suggested who THEY would want NOT who they expected to come in huge difference but in a G C supporters mind, it all gets mixed up very odd.
  15. i have no doubt you are right, but one can dream though he was the manager i wanted in the summer also, and to think i was shitting my pants thinking we would be lumbered with mark hughes who i dont think is more than average. how i would have taken that knowing what i know now. while it is not nice for anyone to lose their job, thousands of people every day it seems are losing their jobs, i think G C losing his job and stil getting a 12 month pay off would cushion the blow of being made unemployed. i think he would do well at someone llike leeds (no disrespect to leeds) but his football philosophy does not work at villa on any level i also dont ( despite wishful thinking) think nzog and ireland who both played for newcastle, nozog slightly more than ireland are doing anything other than airing their frustrations after a piss poor second half i would genuinely be suprised if all these twits or what ever the **** they are are all true, just seems a quick way of spreading bull shit. it used to be wives talking, thats how bull shit spread, now its tw@ter
  16. while i agree to a point, this time last season a certain loud mouthed slap headed fool had got blackpool into a promising position it didnt end well though and they played attacking football. we have some top players, top players need to be managed by top managers otherwise the players dont hang around. i remember boothroyyd? telling ashley young to come to villa as MON would teach him things and make him a far better player, young came. we need a respected manager who players will WANT to take the step up and can sell themselves and the club to promising players. we cant buy top of the range ready made, so buying young players who look the part and will come to us thanks to the set up, the atmosphere the style of play and are already willing to learn under the manager, we can move forwards. van gaal may have fallen out with some big name players, however he also has won an awful lots of things and has managed at the highest level. he would not take shit from any villa players rivaldo at barca i think was the worlds most expensive player at the time? the only other high profile falling out was with toni, he **** toni off and promptly won the league the german version of the fa cup and got to the champions league final. not too shabby really is it?
  17. ? i was watching with a few people and each one of us agreed carlos was by far the best defender again he kicked it long 3 or 4 times in the entire game, each time the ball had been played lazily back, he had come out to the right to cover for hutton and had little choice being closed down but to leather it. apart from those hoofs which were more forced hoofs than your collins random hoof for the fun of it, carlos brought the ball down and also brought it out of defence and again used the midfield to distribute the ball further even if clark was the one who recieved the ball half the time and all he did was pass it straight back to who ever passed it to him in the first place. its amazing how people see the same game and the same player but see things so differently? doesnt make you right or wrong ( or me) for me his recent performances have been the one steady and reliable thing in the back 4, dunne looks more solid, it also makes hutton look slightly less shit ( only slightly mind) I still cant believe the one football playing defender we do have it going to be the one who is off on a free come summer time yet collins, hutton and warnockk unless we find someone stupid enough to take them, will still be here. cuellar would be the first defenders name on my team sheet at the moment
  18. John Gregory? I loved Gregory when he was here but seriously his record since he left us makes McLeish look like Mourinho. Well Gregory's record while at Villa blows McLeish's out of the water. Hence why I loved him when he was here but since then the guy has totally lost the plot. Bit like our current manager then. While i loved gregory while he was here, as he always seemed a villa fan in his dream job. but times have moved on and much as i liked him, he became shit. there are still managers out there would command respect from the off, managers who players wont start silly shit with. hitzfeld still manages switz, speaks fluent english van gaal, still not gone back into management? 2 top top managers right there if we spunk money on G C, why not just employ someone who knows what they are doing and how to do it both should have been approached in the summer, i doubt they were approached. sometimes top managers want a challenge rather than top go to the top club with unlimited money, im sure they would get funds to turn things around. you would also get pretty much full home crowds most week with decent football you also wouldnt be getting players taking the piss more than once.
  19. Even if Ireland told him to **** off, he shouldn't have dropped him. If its true, your comment of him not being dropped is as pathetic and ill timed as Ireland telling Mcliesh to **** off. And if it is true, I want him nowhere near the side again. We havent got time for arseholes. If it is true. We obviously do, we employed one as manager ireland despite last season being a bell end, has gone up rapidly in my estimations. even if the rumour is untrue
  20. who picks them? and today yet again the best defender by a country mile and fast becoming my second favourite villa player in the squad, king carlos. in the first half we were in the game, ireland pinging the ball quickly , nozog not doing too much but still causing them more than enough concern but the ball was more or less on the floor then in the 65th minute, operation hoofball was deployed, huge gaping hole in the middle of the park forms due to the new tactics being employed with the substitution of nzog and then we become shit i hope ireland was not injured although odd as it sounds i hope he was? because if he is injured then we will go back to shit hoof ball, if he wasnt injured then it goes down as another shit substitution the man needs to leave at the end of the season, he wont go before then but there is nothing here for him. i would guess most fans dont want him here, it seems the players dont like the style of football they are having to play and the whole place needs some uplifting. unless carlos is offered a new contract and we get rid of hutton, collins and warnock and get 3 new players in, stop playing clark in the middle when we have players for midfield such as gardener, and tell barry bannan to stop trying to play a bloody hollywood pass each and every bloody time he has the ball, then we may actuall improve. i dont hold out much hope under the G C
  21. thats a good shout, curtis davies ( and i wlways said it when we were linked to him, i could never understand why he was so rated having seen him play for the boggies
  22. well they were for us but some of them just didnt work out and went on to be ace for other clubs milosovic, typically, we sell for £1.5 million or what ever, goes to italy and then gets a £15 million transfer a short time later ivo stas, well he was great against us and was a captain, getting injured and never playing for us is hardly a bad signing, just a very unlucky player. it would be the likes of cascarino for me as one of the worst signings, ruined our momentum as we changed the team to accomadate that donkey when we were pushing for the title collymore, while looking like a dream move, messed up the club also, i like him for all his stupidness, he still bangs on about the villa and makes no excuses for being an out and out villa fan on talk shite every time he is on balaban i wanted to be good, but after he missed a sitter against man utd and we went on to lose or draw from a winning position he just got worse and that was his debut i think ( not checked and am getting old so memory is not great) selling david james and getting schmeichel for just 1 year was for me terrible james had another 5 or 6 years left in him at the top beye was a horrid signing though, the only good thing about him was his happy days song, and for all its amusement, it was probably not worth the 30 or 40k per week plus transfer fee.
  23. so i say its not macron or villa related 2 or 3 times yet oddly you seem to think it must mean its villa macron and future transfer related? oh my goodness, it amazes me just quite how much some people try and twist or deliberately misread even the simplest things. oh dear. odd again i also explain where i heard le tiss comments but again you pretend something else was said? claim i have disproved myself? dispite actually showing you your quote is not the only version which has been told and also include where i heard the comments, which agaoin you misread as to do with fashion when it was rather clear it was about the tight fit and le tiss not wanting to wear something which would make him look fat but never mind it is almost like you cant actually read ? maybe you have some cryptic way you have to read into every post and then reword it to your suiting?
  24. you seriously think that companies dont care if their brand is positioned next to a world brand leader or not? seriously? you also think fans wont give a toss what merchendise it being put out and will buy it no matter what? seriously? our association with nike has done nothing for us? seriously? so merchandise sales are all up comapired to other manufacturers we have used, people buy more villa stuff ( until this season), we have kit launch which is also done in nike stores throughout the world, we were featured in adverts with the worlds top players you seriously think it has had a negative impact on the financial side of aston villa and think it has not increased the brand awareness of the club? you think that companies wont want their logo next to nikes logo unless there is a synergy? how about being placed next to the worlds largest sports merchandise manufacturer, the brand leader, worlds number 1. you think companies dont take that into consideration? and you say IF the macron deal pays more? tell me, how will it generate more money both short and long term for aston villa?
