  1. I thought we were probably 'the club' in for him when they were going round the grounds on R5 and implied he'd been left out due to a possible move. Good player who who will probably die at Villa.
  2. Better put in a few half decent results, then. Seems unlikely.
  3. It doesn't exist for no reason at all, as your equally over the top reaction suggests. It's justified.
  4. I agree, in part. In practice, his time had come, as he had had also reached the limit of his abilities, so it was the right time to sack him, but Gerrard was the wrong replacement. Oh well, back to the drawing board, as usual.
  5. What is depressing about life in general, with all the crises go on around us in parallel, is the fact that he will probably be 'given enough time to turn it around' because it would be too shameful to admit it's already not working out, despite it being obvious that is the case. This situation is so very Aston Villa. As ever, a fake, pathetic, half arsed pretence instead of the organic growth, long term approach.
  6. I hate him first and foremost because my brother in law is a shallow glory hunting clearing in the woods who chose Liverpool to boost his otherwise irrelevant personality and because Stevie G is his hero. Seeing him get the sack would be a small price to pay. Fake, shite Scouse chancer. Piss off.
  7. ...to proving what we already know.
  8. Don't care what anyone thinks I'm glad we are losing. He isn't up to it and yes, it is already obvious. Stevie G, is faking it. **** off.
  9. Can't watch it and don't want to. It's obvious we are losing badly. No idea. **** off Gerrard
  10. Can't watch it because all the streams are shit but I expect we are losing because we are overrun. Gerrard out.
  11. Palace are a good, technical, pacey, side only lacking a clinical finisher, lovely to watch. We have some ability, as evidenced by the goal, but our 'evolution' is a million miles off theirs. Europe still appears to be a totally unrealistic ambition. Overrun in midfield, again. Buendia excellent. Kamara excellent. Konsa shite, McGinn out of his depth, Martinez disappointing for the goal. Lets hope it is a game of two halves because currently expecting another defeat.
  12. If Buendia starts next week there is hope and a reason to look forward to the game. If he persists with Couthino, as is perfectly possible, that would sum up the reason why Gerrard being in charge of our club is an ongoing cause for concern.
  13. Ridiculous post mostly because it is just plain wrong. We all want Villa to do well. That was true under Smith and it's true under Gerrard. It is down to the manager to get the team playing well in order to get the fans onside not the other way around. Smith did it to his fullest capacity, ran out of steam and got sacked. Gerrard is yet to convince. He may still do that, but the chances are on current showings, he won't. I will support the team however shite we are and believe me I have seen some shite, but I won't hold back from commenting for fear of someone telling me I should just clap along mindlessly.
  14. Insipid play with him on the pitch. Zero drive determination or accuracy. We were drifting towards an Everton equaliser. Buendia swung it back in our favour. Prior to him coming on, Couthino was rubbish again today. If he persists with playing him purely out of stubbornness then he will deserve the sack.
  15. The injury to Couthino may well have saved Gerrard from the sack. It's been said before a million times, but we are a better team with Buendia in our team. Night and day in terms of the impact both players' impact today. And we still managed to almost **** it up.
