Do you really think that the reason that people don't smoke is because they think they won't die? Having been a smoker and a non-smoker I can honestly say my life without fags is MASSIVELY more enjoyable than it was with. Try it, you might like it. I hate to admit it, but I agree, so far. I can't quite believe how much of my waking day was spent planning my next ciggy. Don't realise it until you give up. Still miss it though

Fixed. I think England's only saving grace this year will be that Scotland are even worse. It wouldn't surprise me if Italy beat us. We've got some good players but **** me, they are terrible when trying to play as a team. Useless. -
Seriously mate, if you haven't done so already, you should go get that checked out. I loved smoking too, I genuinely enjoyed the experience and the taste but given history in my family, I knew I had to give up. It sucks.

Yes for me. It's more than just stats. Carew has presence and I still think gabby will score more goals with JC in the team. And on this subject, Ian, the bet you have on with Michelsen is an admirable one but I'd rather he gave you the £10 for a new keyboard without back-to-front keys. I'll give the £10 to Acorns. lol -
Yup, negative inflation: deflation. It's a vicious circle that's started and we can se the effects. Only people that can stop it is ourselves, by spending money. That's not going to happen unitl we have the confidence to do so, and that's quite far off right now. Until people start making bonus's, have certainty that their job is safe etc it will continue.

I'm told from colloeagues who work in the states that signs of recovery are there. Some predict the US may now recover quicker than the UK. Next year will be shit though. Ok for me I hope though as I've got cash waiting to buy a car and my mortgage is changeable in April. Don't read papaers, don't watch the news, it's bad and we know it. Just get the head down and get through it if you can.

Why is Shorey not an option? Personally, I'd be dropping Barry to LB and playing Young, NRC, Petrov and Milner. I suspect it's going to change a lot because Sidwell and Gardner will get quite a few games IMO.
