I just don't think he's very good at stopping shots. Bit of a downer for a keeper. Is is he quite short? The goal seems to dwarf him. Seems a nice enough bloke but you could see from the start of last season he wasn't going to be good enough. I seem to be in the minority in thinking that Gollini will be a good keeper. I hope I'm right.

Missed today due to illness. Was hoping to be better for this. Might not bother. Sick of seeing us make stupid mistakes and give away crap goals. Was pleased with this signing but hugely unimpressed today. Reminded me of a netball player in possession. He just seemed to stop and look to get rid of it, refused to carry the ball at all. Weak for the first goal too.

Yep. Two one up with a single central midfielder. It's a miracle that move worked, but it got us 2-1 up. Get Jedinak on then to offer some protection. If he wasn't fit enough to play then he shouldn't be on the bench.

Gollini might have made some mistakes but he has potential. Bunny just isn't a goalkeeper. He doesn't stop shots

At some point this season, we need to take the lead, concede and then go on to win the game. Can't remember the last time that happened as we still have a complete lack of confidence after conceding, despite replacing pretty much everyone at the club. Might as well be today. 2-1 Villa!

You could run that scenario a thousand times without he ball ending up in the net. Yes, maybe he should have kicked it to the side but you live and learn. It shouldn't have mattered as we should have been three or four goals clear by that time with the chances we had. Let's not get on his back, he's stupidly young for a keeper and has some ability.

As someone who's criticised him in the past, he looked a different player today. The first shot when he was through was weak as hell, so I quite liked the way he realised the next time that his shooting was crap so he'd just run it into the net, fair play! hopefully he gets a bit of confidence and can crack on now, same as the rest of our team.
