I don't smoke, but I bartend and so I'm used to it. I have to say I am growing more and more annoyed with cleaning out ashtrays than before. Louisiana accepted the smoking ban (loosest sense of the word and law, should come check it out). But my restaurant still allows smoking due to the cigar bar I work in. That said- I am glad the ban isn't really that. Because I need the money off business men and women who'll come in to relax, smoke a cigar and enjoy some scotch or cognac. Cigarrettes? Beginning to annoy me. Tired of cleaning up their filthy ashes and I'm even over lighting guests' cigarrettes. Won't explain further cuz I don't want to continue boring you.

If we miss out on SWP then I'll find our usual "non-ambitous Villa" to have not been changed even though we've thankfully found a new owner. It's funny how I stumbled onto the Villa, the gods and goddesses have had to have a lot to do with it, for the way I support clubs here in the states there could be no other club more perfect for me to suffer and celebrate with. Omar Little in HBO's The Wire. The best show in the states- period. Played by Michael K. Williams. This show won't interest you much, because you have to live in Baltimore to appreciate the first season...but the second and third are righteous and this is the closest thing to real life America has ever offered. To the point NYC PD use its videos to fight crime. Funny really, cuz no one ever rates Baltimore a rough town. I've lived there 4 years, fekkin loved it. West side...get yo ass on the other side of Charles...suckas. Of course I'm in New Orleans and the crime isn't much better...both towns average over 200 murders a year, gun related...but it's something one eventually appreciates. Or not.

Yeah, I was thinking Die Hard, 48 Hours, Beverly Hills Cop, Lethal Weapon, some Dirty Harry stuff...but picked Raiders of the Lost Ark because it is in fact one of the best those sorts of films ever made. Agreed with Jez. Total Recal was one of the worst films...ever.

Even the Cleveland news are reporting on Lerner's decision to quit interest in an English Football Club. Quoted as saying Ellis wouldn't meet with him one on one, and that Ellis wanted to remain in charge after the sale. I now couldn't care less if ellis drops dead. I feel like smacking the glasses off his effing face.
