  1. Wurzel, that's funny...I actually had some people tell me my orange was representative of the Protestants in Ireland. I was just trying to introduce the "new" green, for St.Patricks Day. Who knew?
  2. Ok, so I was joking with the Grey's Anatomy bit. Seriously though...where's Benny Hill in all of this?
  3. I voted no...when I want to hear from an arsehole I'll simply pass some gas. Joking, though I did vote no...nevermind.
  4. I chose FBI. Sometimes not knowing pisses me off...not as much as "thinking" the cia killed MLK. Now THAT really pisses me off. A better question is who should kill bush? (a couple more of my inuendos about killing that bastard will probably get me banned from VillaTalk because of fear the american powers that be will start trolling the site  )
  5. Hey CV, is today's theme trash, or thrown away? Don't get it. Nice one Lancs
  6. 3PO spotted at his coffee shop where he's about to log-into the VillaTalk Chat Room for a match. Now we all know why he enters with, "I'm in love with 18 different women!" (My apologies if this is too close to NSFW, I found it borderline? Anyway, I couldn't find anything else to contribute to such a righteous thread)
  7. This is the first time I've look in at this thread. Damn funny, except for the fish picture, Drat. Funny thing i started at page 21, now I'm going to go back thru the rest.
  8. I hate Liverpool, Arsenal and then Chelsea. Liverpool are the "alternative" club to follow for the idiot Americans over here. They think by chosing Liverpool over Manure United that it is the underdog and attractive way out when picking a club. Makes me vomit. Although, I hope Chelsea lose, weekend in and weekend out, more than any club now. It seems I don't want them to win the treble more than I loathe anything else football, at the beginning of the year. Can't hate Manchester United the most because a ManUnited bloke introduced me to the Villa. So, I'm screwed there, mates. Just can't hate'em. Savey?
  9. Knock Knock. Who's There? Boo. Boo, who? Why ya cryin? Just joking, I wanted to tell you lot there's a joke yous should check out in my World Chili Cookoff Championship thread I just posted. See you there!
  10. Well how about Man Citeh poking at Malbranque? I wish we had him.
  11. I watched this guy in the Under 20 championship in Holland this summer and thought he was class...and now look- Former U.S. Under-20 midfielder Benny Feilhaber signed a three-year contract with German club Hamburg SV this past week. Feilhaber had drawn the interest of the Bundesliga team after a strong performance with the Under-20s during the FIFA World Youth Championship in Holland this past June. I bet Villa had no one there scouting, again, and this is beginning to be what bothers me about our club. I mentioned Beasley and Donovan three years ago, three years ago when they both could have been picked up for less than 2 million (pre-world cup 2002), and this past year both saw playing time in Champions League. It's no secret I want an American in a Villa shirt, best part about it for Villa is they're all in-expensive. Even Eddie Johnson would go for cheap, and he's a striker too. Hell, I'd go for Convey to take JLloyd's spot as left back, any day of the week. and he'd be cheaper than Samuel also. Oh well.
  12. I picked Solano, knowing full well he won't be. But, the only reason he won't be is because he doesn't take penalties. Scoring is one thing, being the reason we scored is another- and the reason we will score this coming season I feel will land on the shoulders of Solano rather than any other bloke in Claret and Blue. Get in Solano, you are loved, and you kick ass.
  13. I agree, TottiGod, that sounds like a "must-sign" now that Vass is gone and Baros isn't looking likely. How about Eddie Johnson from the US?
  14. This has been a cheeky thread to read. Can't believe I've not noticed before. Anyway, I think I'll see Nuremburg when I go to Germany next year for World Cup. I may meet many more of you there. If anyone was at the 2003/2004 away fixture with Arse-nal I may have seen you there, and you me. But, that's it. Maybe I'll see TexasMike when he visits New Orleans?
  15. I dissagree with the part about him not playing at a high level. I liked his performance, from what I saw, against Liverplop this past Champions League. I think it just sucked for him to play on a club that has the rights to Half the footballers in Europe. If he came here (anywhere in England) he'd have had more of a shot to start, and I'm sorry, but, I think he could start 18 clubs in the Premiership, ESPECIALLY ours. **** Leverkusen for always dabbling into every freaking person who puts a boot on. It's that club that discouraged him, in my humble opinion. The marketing tool would definitely mean more villa shirts than just the 'one' in the pubs that show the footie here in US (that one being either me, or you, or Nibbly, or USVillan when in the pubs watching Premier League). It would have been brilliant to have picked him up. I doubt that transaction would have been topped at Villa Park for the next decade. We **** up, simple as.
  16. Landon Donovan just scored 5 goals in our last two games. and then he scored a goal in our friendly before that, and a couple goals in the game before that. If there is ANY thing I hate about my beloved Aston Villa- it is that Landon Donovan was never even looked at. Effing Portsmouth had him locked in a year ago, only to be denied because January is not the MLS' transfer window (meaning, it would have been illegal for Donovan to be up for being traded...what a joke, but true I guess?). Three years ago I mentioned him on this site, and we could have picked him up for 1mil (before WC2002). This severely pisses me right off. He and Beasley both could have been picked up for less than 4 mil for the both of them...and now this. It would have been a dream for me to wear a Villa kit with Donovan's name on the back. How effing annoying!
  17. Exactly, Rantin! I say go out and get yourself a Gucci in disguise. I quite like me red ones with the red tint...click the thumbnail to check them out further. ($5 in Chicago)
  18. I hate the multi colored Yankees hats. (and the multi-colored UNC hats) I hate the wannabe IRISH Americans buying Boston Redsox hats as if it's the underdog, non-popular and alternative hat compared to the Yankees hat. Reminds me of Americans choosing Liverpool because they think it is an underdog cool way of not choosing Manchester United. You're SO alternative...Dipshits. I hate the so called 'retro' look that just faded out that was the john deer hat with mesh in the back instead of cloth. I don't wear baseball hats. But, when I did I always dug the surfshop brands like Stussy (before stussy made it the grunge of highschool over here), and then Hawaiian Island Creations. These hats fit perfectly and the bill was the exact size of me forehead so they actually looked ok. The only hats 3Penny will wear now are cabbie hats and derbies...and of course those other varieties that come in latex 8)
  19. For some reason, I hear we already have Butt? Is this true?
  20. 3 it is. There are three letters in me sur name, me name which I aquire as my first name because there are soooo many Chrises. I was called Hannah thru-out college! and always Hannah when working in the kitchen. H A N, repeat. Hannah Third was the place I finished in my first race. C is the third letter in the alphabet. I am C.Hannah out of T, H, J, and another C hannah (my family). There are three hannah boys, me tony and jon. Three has always been my favorite number.
  21. I like the Derby matches, for the anticipation and tension value, not for the results we've been getting, so 3PennyOpera picks West Brom. As for which I'd like most to go down (besides Elisha Cuthbert) I hope Southampton does.
  22. Vass looked damn good yesterday. I was thinking the same when watching the match, that maybe he's got a shot to play again for England. He ran down every single ball, all game long.
  23. I'd love to see Melberg phuck up Ljunberg. Same goes for Dublin v Savage, god I hate Savage. I still have the pic of Staunton punching the Bloose fan. And the goalie from Leicester tossing the idiot fan running at him on the pitch. Viera v Keano. I hope someone kicks Dunn's fat arse soon.
