    His football is inconsistent, we show glimpses of being great and then long spells of being poor. Depends how you spin it. I'd say we show glimpses of being competent and long spells of being dire.

    Brad hasn't really screwed up this season and is one of our few players capable of winning a game for us - Norwich away for one.

    Appalling? Really? Give it a rest Yes, appalling. Lots of games he's been as bad as Tonev, ie doesn't actually look like a footballer. And no, I won't give it a rest. Our club is being torn apart by that pair of clowns Lerner and Lambert, and having to watch dross like Bacuna is symptomatic of how far we've fallen. Have to agree. Bacuna is a microcosm of the whole team: All huff, puff and bluster, no direction and bereft of footballing ability. I find the suggestions that he's actually a midfielder laughable. What we don't need is more midfielders who can't pass the ball to a team mate.

    Lerner - will he stay or go? - depends whether global markets force him to sell or not. Lerner - if he stays, will the manager be backed to bring in higher quality players? - No - his business will be directly effected by the Fed's tapering and he's already losing money hand over fist. Lambert - will he stay or go? - Stay. He hasn't impressed anyone else enough to be given a better job. Benteke - will he stay or will he go? - Go. He won't stay - not a chance in hell (unless he gets injured). Benteke - if he goes, will this money go towards team building? Less than half.

    How many clear cut chances did Everton have? We defended brilliantly and for that we deserved a point. Play percentage, low-possession football and you will tire and conceed. Not just in one game but over a season. Everton deserved the win as they were the only team trying to.

    Spink for me. He was the most underrated of our keepers. He should have played the 1990 world cup instead of pensioner Shilton.... we may have won, coz he was useless `at that tournament. Brad may go on to be our best yet. He has everything in his locker. He kept us up last season and is doing well in this one.

    I'm damn sure that if I can cycle ten miles in the p@ssing rain, after my my kid has been puking half the night, to make a meeting with several cancer consultants to analyse their upper GI data, Lowton can make sure he gets to a training session on time. Of course, I could always tell them and their patients that their operation must wait.... c@ck.
