  1. I don’t think it’s necessarily a bad apple in a certain role. When you have a few wrong’uns in the dressing room it drops the standards of everybody. Rashfords body language, lack of effort, and occasional swipes on social media are appalling but they they keep picking him when fit. It’s completely wrong and sends the wrong message. Whilst AWB and Dalit might not look so disinterested they are probably not tearing up trees either if the dressing room is toxic. Look at Sancho, he lost interest very quickly and just couldn’t be arsed at United. Once dropped back into a proper squad with proper discipline he’s tearing it up again. Rashford, Bruno, Casemiro, Antony, Martial, all look like they have stinking attitudes and any decent manager / football director would have shipped at least some of them out by now. The fact they don’t just adds fuel to the fire behind the scenes. They even offered Pogba a last minute £200k/w contract even though he was shite on the pitch and a nightmare off it. They have to prioritise getting harmony in the squad before adding players. They just don’t learn.
  2. About 120,000 Russians dead, another 180,000 injured (plus the collapse of the Russian economy and living standards) and @MaVilla thinks Putin is rubbing his hands together in glee because Zelensky is doing such a bad job.
  3. I’m not sure by which measure Russia would be happy with how the war has played out to the point they’d want to keep him in place. The stiff resistance by Ukraine and the ability of Zelensky to keep getting foreign countries to commit ammunition and weapons that have crippled Russia way beyond their most extreme predictions.
  4. Imagine if that water hits the electricity supply, it could be deadly in an instant. H&S should be shutting the stadium down.
  5. International embarrassment as those pictures will be shared everywhere. I wonder if Sir Jim is having regrets?
  6. What do you mean by that specifically? What I see mainly is a huge lack of effort and bad attitudes which explains why they get battered every week (combined with a lot of key injuries although I don’t see that making a massive difference). Yesterday was a great example. The match day squad for the last few games has been easily the worst in my lifetime.
  7. I am a little on the fence with EtH. Whilst I certainly don’t think he has done a good job I wonder how good a job is possible with the bad eggs (no pun intended) in the dressing room. I suppose that is on him to sort out, but if the club are forcing him to keep people like Rashford in the squad and in the team then there’s not a lot he can do. We know in the SAF era he’d have TOLD the club to move someone like Marcus on regardless of the financial cost, and in the long run it would have been value as people would taken notice. Its a false economy keeping people with bad attitudes around as it is infectious.

My back garden points north, just had a little look at the streetlight right outside the fence is going to ruin any slim chance I have of seeing the northern lights tonight.
  9. Yeah, there are general complaints about all JLR cars infotainment systems being a bit clunky and not that intuitive. I was thinking specifically about the EV side of things. I’ll stick with the Kuga for the rest of this year and then maybe bite the bullet
  10. Which software? I’ve known lots of people have them and all say they’re great. I’ve done a few trips in iPaces and have been very impressed.
  11. I didn’t realise the covered the battery for that long, so that’s good news
  12. I’m really tempted to get 3 or 4 year old Jaguar iPace. These were £80k new and can be had for about £20k now. Everyone I know who has had them have raved about them. My main concern is that if something goes wrong with the battery it might basically make it scrap metal, or land me a mega repair bill. Ideally I’d get it from a main dealer with a robust warranty for 1-2 years.
  13. Yep, I don’t think anyone said they were giving up.

    Eurovision 2024

I always wonder if we could get someone huge like the Rolling Stones to do a song, that would make it really awkward for the political voters.

    I recently stuck £50 in so it’ll be a little while yet…
  17. If the aftermarket can repair or replace batteries at a fair price the market should soar. It’s just too big a leap into the unknown now, especially a 3 or 4 year old car which is out of warranty.
  18. An overreaction a footballer would be proud of

Yup, I didn’t realise the Nokia 3310 could pick out the colours like that.

I think it was mentioned as a possibility on local news. I didn’t take it seriously.

It’s one of those things I feel like I have to see before I die, I’m a bit annoyed I didn’t take the chance to look at it last night and save myself an expensive trip at some point.

Seems like loads of people here in Tamworth had a perfect view too (not me, I forgot and went to bed).
