Yeah wages aren't generally increasing to reflect Tax and Price rises in the UK. I haven't had a pay rise in 3 years.

Strange, wouldn't have expected that, I thought 10-19k would have been about average, but I guess we have quite a few older posters who generally are on higher wages. Unfortunately I'm not on 60k+.

I have no idea, it just irritates me, like I said though, if they were getting a good deal on the holiday then fair play, but £1k pp for 2 weeks self catering? You can go to Mexico/Dominican Republic/Florida all inclusive for the same money, but they just wont try anything different because they "know they are going to like Corfu". That's just a stupid thing to say, I like Beer but it doesn't mean I'm never going to try anything else as I might like something else more!

People that go on holiday to the same place every year and wont even consider going anywhere else. Berchtesgaden is well worth the visit, my parents took me when I was a kid, a very interesting place and my dad even obtained a peice of Hitlers garage! How long you going for Maximus? And do those Interrail tickets cover any train fare within Europe?

I was going to suggest the Flying Pig Downtown hostel but to be fair for the money they charge for a bed in a 10 person room you can probably get a hotel room for a little bit more and not have to listen to drugged up traveling rich boys harp on about how amazing New Zealand is whilst eating your breakfast or enjoying the local herbs. In what way is he shite, I know he hasn't had a great start but MoN hardly left him in a good situation? He's a proven manager at Prem level he just needs a chance, more than half a season. Chris Hughton was working with that team for alot long than GH has had so yeah he looks to have been a good manager but if you shove him in GH's shoes right now he'll probably still lose to Liverpool. At the end of the day in my opinion the guy hasn't been given enough time to warrant us all crying to get him out. Fair enough after the whole season and he's still doing shit then yeah get rid and I'll admit I was wrong but you can't seriously expect him to come into a job and start winning every game.

Thats it, it doesn't even really taste like white chocolate but it just looks similar so can't bring myself to eat either anymore. A similar reason to why I can't drink tequila or Whiskey anymore.

Yuk. Chocolate must be brown. I know that the high quality stuff is actually OK, but I never got over my first (and only) try of a Milky Bar as a kid. Truly horrible. The only thing worse was Caramac. This, white chocolate is horrible, never used to have a problem with it then I had a Caramac and threw up. I tend to find I'm one of the minority with not liking white chocolate, all of my mates love it and some prefer it to normal milk chocolate.

Was thinking that to start with but guessed that he had already booked flights etc. Dusseldorf hasn't really got much going on imo, Koln is alot nicer.

I've always found it useful plus quite alot of people include some of their own photos so gives you an idea of what you are actually going to see when you get there rather than the hotels 10 year old photos that are well out dated.

I used www.hotels.com to find a hotel when I went to Paris, then booked direct through the hotel as it worked out cheaper, its a pretty good website, also recommend researching the hotel on tripadvisor to make sure you aren't gonna end up in some dump.

I kinda like Christmas, don't like how early they start advertising about christmas etc but when its here it is a nice change from the usual routine at work, get a few days off aswell and nice to see the family but now my brother has moved up to Scotland the house is kinda empty, just me and the folks, not quite the same when I'm opening presents without him there. Still nice to see the rest of the family and go up the pub with my grandad for a few too many beers Hate when its all over though, so many sales on getting rid of the shit they couldn't sell before.

I have heard much of their new stuff but have found a couple of the tracks on Spotify, pretty good to be fair. I went to see them on their One By One tour, that was class and Dave Grohl is an awesome performer. Probably my favourite band of that genre.

I've been with my gf for over 4 years now, wouldn't consider proposing even now, it really does depend on the circumstances and the couple but I think 5 years or over should give you a good idea of what you're getting yourself into.
