It would take more force to break glass by pulling than steel - ie if you have a 1 foot long pole of glass and exactly the same size of steel, by pulling at either end of each, glass will take more force to snap.

If you're looking to lose weight: 1) Increase exercise, add resistence exercise if possible. This keeps your metabolism up a lot longer than running. Your uni/college will probably have a dirt cheap gym. 2) Dont eat less - this is where people fall down - if you eat less your body will hold onto the fat etc because it is undernourished, it's waiting for the next meal. The best way to do this is to go from the usual 3 meal a day thing to 5 smaller meals - eat healthy foods and drink only water for a fortnight. Guaranteed droppage of pounds. Diets are bad because you usually end up putting the weight back on straight away after. Good luck to you - try to keep to the right calorie range (you can find this on many sites on the net for your height, weight, exercise level etc) and make sure you eat healthy foods such as lots of vegetables, rice, good meats etc.

I use ticketmaster for Wales football tickets if I can (ie dont have to go through the FAW's paper pushers) because the £1.50 a ticket 'handling fee' they charge is far less than the £8 for postage and £4 a ticket fee the FAW charge. And yes, they charge postage if I pick them up by hand....

General In the age of doing everything to save the planet etc and all that hippy lark (I dont believe in Global Warming, but hey, thats another issue) as well as surging fuel prices, have Villa ever considered a lift-share spot on the website etc? What I mean is if I'm driving up from Cardiff, I've got 3 spaces for the Sunderland game - perhaps it would be good for me to be able to log into the site, post up my details which acts as a central point for anyone who needs a lift up etc? This would probably be more beneficial to supporters living outside of Birmingham but would it would be very useful. There have been times where I've wanted to go to games and eventually given up because £30 fuel plus ticket plus food etc etc it adds up, but sharing a lift up with someone would have swayed my decision. I dont know how viable it is but I think it would be really, really useful. Obvious information required would be contact details, when leaving (time), when returning (time), what game going to and where leaving from... Cheers General

I dont like Birmingham, but the derby games do give us a 'big' fixture to look forward to. On top of that, I really **** hate newcastle united football club, and their best fans in the world.

General, I've just been to Barcelona and visited their stadium for the tour - obviously at the moment (and for the considerable future) Barcelona will have a much larger pull than us in terms of this - however there were so many things that could be picked up from it that we could incorporate into our tour. Given the huge numbers of Polish/Lithuanian/Romanian immigrants into this country recently, perhaps audio parts to the tour in their respective languages - certainly non-English speaking people visit the stadium, obviously we cant cover every language, but the major ones (English, Spanish, Chinese, Urdu, plus German, French etc) would be superb I feel. All the signs on the tour were in Spanish/Catalan/English, meaning they'd specifically gone out of their way to ensure that people were catered for - and apart from the Birmingham City pennant in their trophy room, it was brilliant from start to finish! The final part was that the tour finished in the shop - perhaps a little obvious to all what the aim of this is, but people still spent money. I'm not sure of the nationalities/languages spoken of people on the tours - may well be 99.999% english - your marketing team will know this obviously - but perhaps this is something that can be thought up - particularly an audio part of the tour, it would be an excellent addition if there are the numbers to support it.
