  1. I think a lot of Tory supporters will wake up this morning gutted, the debate only helped the other 2 (Lab / Lib). I thought Cameron finally got caught out and now seems totally unelectable compared to the other 2. Cameron came across as a cowardly and totally out of his depth. Anyone good at photo shop because he reminded me of Rimmer from Dwarf a lot of the time so he just needs a nice "H" on his head, the public have the right to know IMO. Clegg absolutely stormed it, Brown did a lot better than I thought and Cameron has actually had to be shot, fell at the second.
  2. I might download it after it's finished just out of curiosity mostly. I don't think it will tell me much as it will be a little staged I feel.
  3. But the scoreline says different Don't matter we lose, we did play well the first 20 min :-) Barca played quite well at Arsenel the other week for the 1st 20 minutes as well, I just aint getting the same football vibe
  4. What does that mean? Cheaper to go to the cinema and no increase for 3D films. Allow people to take their own drinks / sweets into the cinema Make DVD's / Blue rays cheaper (9.99 / 14.99 for e.g MAX) When a bought DVD is inserted the menu starts straight away, no warnings, no trailers, no adverts and no bits that can't be fast forward....(These can be menu items if they want it so bad)just the product that was bought. Allow films to be downloaded on day of release to home (Film only, no BS as above)to cater for Home cinema people. Just a few of the top of my head. If they did the above the film companies would have more money than they could ever know what to do with. These are base requirements, there are others.
  5. Agreed, I feel really sorry for the kids. Could be solved quite easily though I suppose, for A&E visits for kids under 16 that get pissed the parents should be charged the full cost of the care their children receive. As they are bin dippers then take it out the benefits. Some will say that will harm the kids more but I doubt it, take the bingo and sun tan shop money away from them slags on the TV and they will make 100 % sure the kids don't drink. Felt a bit ashamed to be honest watching it with my Dutch mrs, that kind of stuff is VERY rare in Holland and it makes us look like the monkey race left on a island that Europeans think we are.
  6. If they do manage to win the best way is to vote with ones feet, get yourself and your family away from the place and to the nearest place of safety that speaks the lingo (Holland for eg). Number one place in Europe to bring up kids and it has coffee shops, kinda laughs in the face of the class A,B and C bolox. 8)
  7. how many MP's are there and how many were convicted of fiddling expenses etc ? Even Brown who through Buffoonery may have wrecked the UK economy is sincere in what he is doing ..just not very good at it Not on about expenses just politics in general, whatever is on the table they think what they can get out of it first and how their own life can be improved, population second. In light of the expenses scandal and the global recession the right and correct thing for the MP's to do would be to take a huge pay cut IMO, did they ?
  8. Good point, we the public should not get fooled by the election bolox. No matter what the party is they are doing it to improve their lives and the lives of their own family and friends. The MP moto should be "improve your own life at the expense of of 60 million others is perfectly acceptable and generally a good idea my old boy." 60,000 pharaohs.....6 Billion slaves spinning on a rock flying through space at 50,000 miles per hour, it's all rather depressing but painfully true. A simple rule that an MP can only earn the average wage of his constituency might be good for a laugh. Dave Cameron, MP for Birkenhead has a certain ring to it. At least the people running for it would be proper people then.
  9. The Tories have committed to ring fencing NHS spending, Labour haven't. Labour are refusing to rule out a VAT rise. Can you substantiate that? Sounds to me like you are getting a little desperate there mate... Problem is for the Tories is that a lot of people think that about them, it's just life experience and your brain tends to remember pain a lot more than happiness as a protection mechanism. For me voting tory would be a bit like running a country pub on a nice summers day in late August, there's a nice young family of 5 people been in all day, the bloke asks for 1 more pint before he drives home. I think he has had enough alcohol but I serve him anyway as he seems OK ish, he drives off in his MPV with the kids in the back. The thought hits me as he disappears around the bend in the road, a tight knot of fear and dread, a lot of innocent people could get really really badly hurt here and I am going to be a part of it.
  10. Total gimmick. Only invented to try and stop piracy (and to add to the average cost of going to the cinema), they could of course stop piracy by giving the customer what they want but they choose not too and have tried this route instead. Luckily it's not really working as planned as people will be patient and wait for the DVD rips to appear, has done none of their aims so far as piracy so it's all good. Considering the quality of TV's/sound at home coupled with the rise in internet speeds the night out at the cinema hopefully won't have long to run now.
  11. Small Heath fans are allowed to reproduce, can anyone really tell me god exists in any form now ?
  12. After a 2 month break from VT i'm back. erm that's about it really.
  13. Don't worry it's xmas soon, treat yourself, it's the way forward. That's what I heard on the grapevine anyway. Just having a quick game of Pro Evo on the Ps3 now Enjoy your hot chocolate, which album is it ?
  14. Have only seen the Fonz a few times but I like what I see to be honest. Would like to see him given 45 mins sooner rather than later. Shame we were not further ahead on Sat at HT I suppose. Next time maybe.
  15. We looked quite a nice well balanced side against Bolton. I would change a few things though :- Collins > Cueller Delph > Sidwell Would not change anything else. Sidwell's performance's do not do enough for me to earn another run out, prefer him as sub currently as with Petrov.
  16. What so small heath can travel back and can win something for once, I don't think so. The space/time in the universe would cave in on itself. That reason alone is why we should not try it and because of the Grandfather effect.
  17. Agreed, looked very good on Sunday. Maybe him and Davis are like Hart to Hart, if they are apart everything is cool and the gang, put em together and they are murder.
  18. Fair point but it's 1 minute max, compare this to ITV where watching a 90 minute film takes 120-140 minutes. A film on the BBC takes 90 minutes as there is no stopping, that is why it is streets ahead of anyone else. (rjw63  DAMM DAMM DAMM, I have been so careful lately with the spelling)
  19. Not fluent in Dutch but I can get by when needed so i put 2.
  20. At least the others give you a choice. With BBC you have no choice in paying a TV licence. I would happily delete all BBC channels if it meant I didn't have to pay a TV licence. I don't need a licence and even when I did get one it's fantastic value for money IMO. If I compare the BBC output to what they serve up in Holland it's decades ahead. Be careful what you wish for as it's the only good TV broadcaster in the world. As for choice regarding adverts my personnel view is that people have got something seriously wrong with them if they watch them at all. The advertisers know that X% will fall for it and actually purchase, I don't want to be in their statistics in any way. Also everytime you watch one it gives money to people like ITV, that's never good.
  21. I refuse to watch adverts on the TV so it's BBC for me. If the other channels manage to show anything worth watching like series (eg Lost) I just download them all. If I watch adverts I feel like my brain is melting, same with radio (talk sport). I just switch to 5 live when they come on.
