I said 4 also but the question should be what do we need to get 4th spot. That is a lot more difficult to answer as 4 players means nothing if they never play or are not pushing the 1st team for a place. We have kids coming through and have also invested in youth so what we buy must be of the quality to be considered straight away for the 1st 11 on the first day of the Prem. Difficult task but achievable I believe if we do a bit of clever trading, players + cash or even swaps should be considered.

Don't think we will sign many this summer, maybe one or two we clearly have no money We will have when we sell the crown jewels for the 2nd time in a row. I suspect you are right about Young, something was going on as it's just illogical otherwise not to play him. We need a settled back 4 with no squares in round holes to start with next season, that is a must. Without this we really are not going to compete. Cuellar is never going to be the answer long term as we need 2 attacking full backs.

Spot on, needs a re-vamp. I will always watch it I suppose as a lot of people but it needs something else, not sure what though. Maybe something on technology, how engines are designed or how F1 use wind tunnels or similar as the cocking about gets on my nerves after a while. From the comments made recently I think he will be off. When players say they don't know where they are going to be playing next season then it's kind of all over. I just want progress and better players and the 4th spot is the quickest way to do this. It's the ability to attract better players more than anything that 4th provides as we will see at spurzzzz. To cement 5/6 th place means we are going to need to finish higher than Liverpool again and to make any sort of progress for the previous years and years of trying higher than Man City. Who spends the most is not a good gauge always but I am pretty certain both of these clubs will blow us out the water in the summer money wise and this will unfortunately be evident in 12 months time imo.

Not sure about letting Davies go but I agree with the rest but Randy will need to dig a LOT deeper than 15 M, 15 M + the money from the above (even Davies included) would give us enough to stand still or a furry kitten transfer fund. The higher you want to go up the league the more it will cost you in raw money, like adding 10 mph to a 200 mph car you can mess about with the shape of wing mirrors and spoilers all day long but the bottom line is more BHP is needed. That's just the way it is, loserfool might case in on Torres/Gerrard and Mancity can do and buy anyone so we got problems ahead I fear. The 15 M needs to be 35 -45 M + the above money. Don't forget we need to get 4th place as we have not progressed up the league for a while. Just how I see it currently.

I'm not a Labour supporter but the above would be a nightmare, in the end the countries that really don't contribute but only take would have more power than they should ever have. Money should be taken away from Scotland/Ni/Wales etc and pumped into England as far as i know. Get the heart and brain working and worry about toes 123 later.

I must admit it is good fun but in a guilty "watching a car crash" type way but lets be honest, these are politicians and it does not really matter what party they belong to 99.9 % are words removed. It's just nice to see them squirm a bit on TV.
