The play with the keeper is a clear foul, look at the Croatian player adjusts his body in midair to make contact. The penalty was indefensible however. As for the potential red card, well, if you wanted a red on ivanovic for the challenge with benteke last year, that has to be one as well. Really similar.

Wow casillas really was horrible. Starting him was clearly the wrong decision, but I figured it wouldn't hurt them this much.

It was only six months. And he was dropped because he wasn't playing that well in the first place. Mourinho brought in a better keeper to replace him, and that's why Diego Lopez plays ahead of him even with ancelotti.

Not really, this was similar to the ivanovic play with benteke last summer at Chelsea.

Why are people saying there was a goal wrongly ruled out? He used his arm to push Cesar. If that happened with a field player it'd be an obvious foul.

I think it was correct to disallow the goal. But the penalty, lovren did nothing wrong. As for the potential red, well, the commentators didn't even think it was a foul. A yellow was fine to me.
