From what I have read - Xia has to consent to administration. The only way we go in administration if he doesn't - is via a HMRC winding up order - or court order - presumably from people owed money. The more positive (lol) spin this morning is that we just have to dump anyone on a high wage - that could take another 2 seasons. The concern is that Xia doesn't seem to have much idea is now running the club - and is unlikely to employ another CEO IMO

Can any accounts guru's tell me what actually happens in administration - my understanding is:- 1.The administrators control the assets - and sell to pay the creditors - the owner has no say in these sales 2.If someone agrees to buy all the assets then the club can sold for £1 - even against the owners wishes If that is correct there is going to be one hell of firesale - because Tony could loose everything he has put into the club? - its more about saving his ass than Aston Villa.

Doubtful - even we got a new owner there is still FFP. What I am feeling is that tony will sell everything to keep us afloat - in due course that will make the books look better - then he sells - god knows where will be playing our football though

With hindsight the writting was on the wall with that half time game, where you kick the ball into the segment and win a prize. Historically it was a holiday, a 4k samsung tv - but towards the end of last season some poor fecker won a crate of a beer !!!!
