I'm not fleeing or hiding my friend, I just don't have the money or the heart to warrant watchin this dross week in week out. I see no point in attending games when it's guaranteed to leave me pissed off and very frustrated. I've been watching us from The Holte since 1984, even when we went down I still attended, through thick and thin you might say, the difference back then though was I still had a certain level of hope and belief, and what's more the admission charges were nothing like they are in todays game. We also had back then a chairman to shout at and vent our feelings, not that it did anygood mind, but the current bell end we have in charge refuses to give any indication as to where we're going and is nowhere to be seen, why would I want to give what little cash I do have to him. Good for you if you can continue putting yourself through it, but personally it's all over for me, well, untill Lerner has **** off that is.

He's had his last penny out of me, I'm gutted to see what he's done to our club, and it hurts not going to VP, but I just can't stand watching this shit any more. Why would I want to pay what little money I have getting pissed off on our terraces wishing I was somewhere else, I just don't enjoy watching Villa any more, in fact I've fallen out of love with football altogether.

The way I see it, we're down if this clown stays in charge, or we're down if he's sacked, so either way he needs to go. The benefits of him going now would be having a new manager to assess what dross we've got in the squad, and know what was needed in order to hit the ground running next season in the championship.

There are so many flaws within this post, I don't know where to start ripping it to bits.

That's the same with any club though, you'll always get a higher turnout when the big clubs full of world class players turn up at your place, it's always been that way at every ground. Also, how many of those extra fans we get in on a big club match day are actually Villa fans? You'll find many of them are away fans that weren't able to get a ticket with their own fans or just general neutral football fans wanting to watch a big team.

I doubt it, fans want to see a team win games, and have an enjoyable day out, which is something that's been missing at VP for sometime and doesn't look like changing anytime soon.

Lerner doesn't know his arse from his elbow when it comes to football or running a football club, simply look at his tenure at the Browns, and as the article says, we've gone full circle now since he bought the club from Doug, the only difference is we weren't in debt when Doug sold us. Back when O'Leary and Eliis were running the place I'd promised I wouldn't put another penny into the club until they had gone, sadly I find myself in the same position now as I was back then. I've seen and heard enough, you won't be seeing me down VP for quite some time as I don't believe Lerner will sell up any time soon. I also have no faith in Lambert for reasons I've already stated in his own thread, for me it's all over. I'll still wear my Villa shirts and watch the games down the pub, or on tv and tinternet as I'm Villa through and through, but pay my hard earned cash to watch this bunch of **** ups take the club down, not a chance, it's soul destroying and I no longer have the fight in me to keep on going. In the 30 years I've been a Holte ender, bar when McNeill took us down, these past three seasons have been the worst I can remember, everything is wrong about our club and we deserve to go down as a result of it. Call me a crap fan, slag me off for not 'getting behind the lads' etc, but blind faith isn't what's needed here, a new owner, board and a manager with a realistic plan is. Lerner and Lambert out.
