  1. Agree, I don’t mind the debate, there’s valid points on both sides, but the cherry picking of stats to prove a narrative loses me. Here’s a stat, Abraham only played a full 90 min in 8 games last season, but scored in 6 of those games and an assist in another. Does that mean he can score 24-25 games in a season? No, but shows how stats can show what narrative some are pushing.
  2. See this is the stuff I find annoying, ‘overpriced Chelsea valuation’. We buy unproven championship striker for £30m, but a proven PL & CL striker isn’t worth £40m?
  3. Having undertaken the trip a couple of times over the past few years, I would recommend Pullman London St Pancras hotel if staying in London. It's like a 5 minutes walk to King's Cross and St Pancras stations to get around London on the underground, but also 5 minute walk to London Euston station which gets you the fast trains up to Birmingham for day trip or if staying for a couple of days. Just spend a little time working out the underground, once you do its a breeze. Also stayed a week at the Novotel London at Canary Wharf, it's a little out of the way, but great views of London from down there and 5 minute walk from the water taxi's and 15 minute run on the Thames into the middle of London which is a worthwhile experience. Download the app on your mobile device, can book tickets on line, swipe etc If you fly into Heathrow just catch the underground in, they have signs from airport to trains, a lot cheaper and direct to Paddington station.
  4. If Abraham was a one trick pony, he wouldn’t be playing PL and CL football. Everything you said he doesn’t do, I’ve seen him do with my own eyes, maybe get out from behind the computer and actually watch some football games.
  5. So in your opinion he’s a crap player who scores lots of goals, well If that isn’t the definition of an oxymoron, nothing is.
  6. Yeh ok, I’m more interested in backing what I see, not an amateurs cherry picked stats. The question is and always will be, can he put the ball in the net?
  7. Didn’t include him on the bench, well there you have it folks, proof… It’s not proof at all, just reinforces the fact that the money spent and to be spent is more important than improving the home grown talent. History tells us that, they didn’t rate De Bruyne FFS and the long list of others who went on to become great players at other clubs. You need to start quoting IMO, because it’s your opinion, not fact. You can find excuses for other players, but when it comes to Abraham you’ve stamped him.
  8. Ok champ, so finding more excuses to justify your opinion, doesn't scream desperation at all.... Did you happen to think that Tuchel not playing Tammy regularly has more to do with the remit from the owner to get both the expensive signings going...??
  9. Maybe you need to watch Chelsea’s 19-20 where he led the line to a Top 4 finish in the PL, which most think they wouldn’t do but also in the CL. Basing your opinion on when Tuchel was appointed is a cry of desperation.
  10. Different games require different tactics and different tactics require different players. What I do see is people cherry picking stats to suit their narrative and have nothing to do with a player and whether he can do a job for the team. If Tammy was 90% shit at his game, we would be playing park football with his mates not Champions League football.
  11. I agree mate, I just believe you don’t make the comments in the first place. As the club should make the best decision with the information it has in front of them at the time.
  12. I have faith in the manager, coaches etc to sign the right players. It’s just when they make these comments and 12, 18 months later actually do what they said they wouldn’t do.
  13. Pick your porky - we won't sign another loan without a buy clause installed; we want to sign young hungry players, not older players looking for one last pay day.
  14. So you whole methodology on Tammy is based on one game at the end of the season when all players are tired and need a break? PS.. We won the game.
  15. For me whether it is Tammy or other, we need something different and someone who can challenge Watkins for playing time. IMO Watkins can play behind a striker or out wide, which gives the team more options in attack.
  16. He played over 50 games for Germany and played in the highest level competitions in England and Germany, including UEFA Cup and Champions league games for Stuttgart, he wasn't average either.
  17. Deano has put good people around him and has continued to develop as a PL manager. We may get to the day where a change is required, but wouldn’t underestimate him.
  18. Always look back at that Luc Nillis goal and think what could have been if not for that injury.
  19. Some only see what they want to see.
  20. He’s only been in Spain for 18 months came directly from Brazil and was sent out on loan for first 6 months. Considering Barca is a bit of a shit show at the moment and was signed by previous president, you couldn’t trust any decisions they are making. Seen enough of him in Brazil to know there’s a player there, but agree he may not of settled in at Barca, but considering how it’s been run lately may not be the kids fault. He’ll be picked up on a free, too much potential not to be.
  21. Barcelona have released Matheus Fernandes after only signing him 18 months ago, unbelievable. He's not the finished article but would suit the type of DM we need, physical able to break play up and plays heads up football.
  22. You say that enough it becomes disrespectful and Jordan says it nearly every chance with Villa, moron.
  23. You may be right, but England haven't been showing that intent for goal, yet.
