  1. I've gone balls in on -8 to shift Son, Kane and Toney. Reguilon can stay - I can just about afford to bench him and he'll be useful when the Spurs fixtures are rearranged. Had decided against jumping on the Bernardo bandwagon but changed my mind seeing as I had the Son money. Expect he'll either be randomly benched, catch Covid or just have a complete dip in form now.
  2. I've got Reguilon, Kane and Son. And Toney. Ffffffffffffffffffff

See I'm not all that keen on Vish (not to the extent of Kate though, who ruins shows) but I do quite like Jules. And I don't mind the Brighton chat that comes with it - at least it makes a bit of a change. I do like Lars though, who's now started appearing on the Ramble as well as OTC. Talking of OTC, Dotun's grown on me a little. And I like that they're now adding their meal choices to the haha of the week again!
  4. Well fought against a bloody good team. Hard to lose but proud of that performance. Very focused and a lot of resilience.
  5. Yeah Man City are really good. And they seem smug about it so it's annoying, but why can blame them and tbf they work bloody hard too. Very disciplined and extremely well coached. At least we can say they've scored two excellent goals to get ahead - of course we can still find faults from our side for both, but really we've done alright to hold them off at times when they've been absolutely throttling us in our defensive third. Bloody frustrating that we've messed up the final ball on a couple of great counter attacks particularly when they could clearly be got at. But we'll learn from this hopefully.
  6. Not sure if this is useful: https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/nintendo-switch-oled-model-white-10-off-with-student-beans-code-3827423
  7. I always listen to podcasts when I'm in the car these days rather than the radio, but hearing about the Gerrard appointment today I decided to put Talksport on to hear the latest, possibly any comments from him, the club, etc. Instead I got the wisdom of Jack Wilshere, who has all the charisma of a breeze block (and probably a similar number of brain cells) and Andy Goldstein, who I absolutely cannot stand.
  8. Minimum of 24 points on my bench this week. Meanwhile my attacking three get a grand total of five.
  9. I have a feeling it'll be Fonseca. I'm personally not sure he's the right man, but would give him a chance (as I would most!) I'd like to see what Favre would do. There would still be elements of risk there, though. I wouldn't like either of Lampard or Gerrard. With the latter though I wonder how much is personal bias if I'm honest, but I don't think what he's done at Rangers means he'd necessarily be a success here.
  10. An absolutely top man who always carried himself with integrity. He's played an immense part in restoring us to something like the club we should be. I hope he's welcomed back to Villa Park in future and I'm sure he'd get a fantastic reception. Can't argue with the decision (as long as we bring the right person in) but I'm gutted to see him go. It was fantastic to be led by a man who was truly one of us, but also a dignified and classy bloke. Thank you, Dean.
  11. I hope Dean can turn it around if given time. I'm not sure if he'd be able to, and I think it looks like he'll be off. It's a sad situation. My main worry is who we bring in. The players need a boost but also some stability - through injuries, transfers and tinkering, we've not been able to find that this season. We could do with some more tactical nous I think, but the last thing we need is a gamble.
  12. Yeah don't need to change anything after that storming first half. Said Ralph Hasenhüttl.
  13. Two left wingers and a 10 would probably give Cash about the same amount of cover as he had in the first half tbf.
