They've just repeatedly closed down our defenders and we can't find a way out. It's the way we need to play considering who we've got further forward and that they need it into feet, but we don't seem to be able to get it into central midfield to turn them around.

Well I'm glad I wasn't stupid enough to put Butland and Gallagher in my FH team this week only for the former to be on the bench and the latter out completely.

Talk of Everton v Newcastle being postponed now due to Covid and injuries for the latter. Being as the game's not until Thursday, we probably won't know before the deadline.

Both keepers out for this GW and only eight outfield players available (one is Gilmour who doesn't bring in many points, and two others are Bernardo Silva and Foden - there's a chance that neither start and I'd be very surprised if both do). I also want to shift Ronaldo as he can **** off after I brought him back in yet again - too much value in him - but that means more transfers, especially if I want to bring Salah back in for the next couple of games. I should probably use my FH but I'm still reluctant to with the double GWs coming up - plus it'd still leave me with Ronaldo and without Salah for next week. Currently thinking I'll go with the FH then leave Salah out for GW21, sacrificing him for the Chelsea game before AFCON (although I do think he'll do well in that) and make a couple of transfers then.

I also did -8 and saved my FH. Using one would have been useful but I'll get more benefit later down the line. I'd have brought in at least one of Martinelli / Saka but already have three Arsenal starters in Ramsdale, White and Laca and it's not worth shifting those, especially with other transfers to make. Got rid of Salah early which I'll probably regret when he scores 406 goals against Leicester, but it's enabled me to bring in Ronaldo (although he'll obviously blank now, or the game will be called off) and Son. I've also taken a punt and brought in Foden for Jota. I've got Bernardo too from before. I imagine only one of those two will start but even if the other comes off the bench, they could pick up points. I'll likely bring Jota back in soon but there's not point doing too much planning ahead atm.

Even more last minute dilemmas now!
