    Silva is unlucky. It’s the kind of penalty you see every week or every shootout. But 99 times out of 100 the keeper dives. If that happens he gets complimented for a cool penalty. The one time it doesn’t happen you look an absolute mug.

    I didn’t say it was a “club statement” in the way that you’re implying. I’m saying it was A statement (as in a grammatical statement) officially released by the club. Which it is. I have no problem whatsoever with people considering a move. I’ve never said I have. I think it’s bit weird, but I don’t have a problem with it. This whole discussion started with YOU asking ME “who said we are not moving?”

    Honestly this thread is mental I feel like the mad conspiracy guy trying to convince everyone of some weird far out theory. When in fact it’s the most logical scenario and something that is backed up by a statement from the club.

    People do realise that redeveloping Villa park and the surrounding area would also count as a “big infrastructure project” right?

    I know. I’ve literally said as much. This whole thing was in response to me being asked “who says we’re not moving” Ive literally said in more than one post above that things COULD change. The fact is the biggest bit of evidence as to whether we are or are not leaving villa park is a statement by the club categorically stating that we are NOT moving. Call me crazy but that would indicate to me that the most likely scenario is that we’re not moving. There is absolutely no evidence to the contrary except for the recent appointments. But they could quite easily be to do with expanding/redeveloping the ground. In fact that is a far far more logical scenario

    Seeing as people seem to have forgotten this happened, and I’ve posted it before, here is what the club said. These are from the official notes from the FAB on 20th December 2023 which the club has published on its website here

    Again I’m not saying things can’t change. Of course they can. But at this stage there is literally nothing more categoric that we could have than the club officially saying we are not moving. Short of a lie detector test that’s the best evidence it is possible for us to have.
