  1. Yeah but a mate of mine says its all true.
  2. No but they are letting any democrat on the street to come in and vote again. Apparently.
  3. The oil crisis, the hostage crisis in Iran and Reagan was a charismatic candidate who promised good times whilst Carter was telling them to conserve energy.
  4. The Democrats seem confident of taking Pennsylvania which if that is the case then its game over.
  5. That's fine. It will be the same result give 100/200 votes. Its all coming up Milhouse for Biden.
  6. Only 1 republican (mitt romney) voted for impeachment, even though privately most would realise that Trump was guilty.
  7. 1992 when Bush Snr lost to Bill Clinton. Before that was 1980 when Carter got tanked by Ronnie Reagan. You usually have to have a terrible first term and/or a poor running economy to lose.
  8. I expect the counting is being done slow and steady in these states given how close it is and how many lawsuits they may be getting. I feel sorry for the election organisers under a lot of unwanted pressure.
  9. You would think the Libertarian party would pick up much more moderate republican votes but it is such a 2 party system in the states this never really happens.
  10. Add 3rd party to Trumpkin and that's about right. The Greens, Libertarians and Mr West will do well to get about 2%.
  11. The Democrats just need to fund about 5% of the population to move from liberal states and settle them to the swing states to live in. Simples.
  12. It is very difficult to poll in a electorate which is so diverse and is changing rapidly. They made changes in the weighing of votes from last time due to the massive difference in college education and voting behaviour, but things change. Trump has had gains in Latino and Black votes, which to a outsider seems baffling. There is probably quite a lot of the voters who would not want to admit they vote Trump as it is seen as so controversial (to put it mildly)l, but then vote for him in the election. What is clear is that the Democrats will again win the popular vote and have only failed to do so once this century. It is the baffling voting system which is increasingly favouring Republicans.
  13. Thanks for sharing the notes. The accessibility point is a interesting one, even thought at present we can't go and watch games at Villa Park. I have read that Old Trafford has brought in more disability spaces, with a overall net reduction in seating capacity. Is this a legal requirement by a specific time scale like the Taylor Report? I remember several years ago probably under Dr Tony the plan was to take seats out of the lower north and put in more disabled seating. Will this happen?
  14. A bit up and down but I still think we are going to have a much better season than 19/20. Perhaps not top half yet though. It would just be nice to be able to go and see some of this live next year.
