    Please god no. Mediocre at best. At 6 million he may be worth a punt but 13million is wayyyyy too much.

    Seen some talk on twitter about Villa interested in Hull Citys James Chester. He is a 23 year old CB who joined Hull from Man U.

    I think we can get to tenth place but it all depends on how fit Gabby and Db are and how well our defence copes with teams in the top 6. If the team stays injury free and has a bit of confidence who knows what they can achieve.

    They did a few days ago, but haven't tweeted anything as of yet. Strange for him or her to reopen the account now after missing out on the signings of Lowton, Vlaar and Guzan. Hopefully there is more on the way

    I wonder will it affect us at all? Maybe he will throw.a few extra dollars this way or give up sport altogether and sell us too.

    For all we know other players may have been shown around Villa Park and had a 'chat' with PL. The Ramis move seems to have gone quiet. Maybe he is our first choice and if he turns us down Vlaar is No2 choice. I can't see any other reason why PL hasn't signed him.

    Just signed a new 3 year contract last June so 2 years left. Club captain too. Get him in!

    have already brought in 3 players May have added 3 but take away those who left and the fact Petrov won't be playing and you will then see the squad hasn't really been strengthened as yet.

    Off for preseason tour after Saturdays game so you would think any important signings would be pushed through before then. Here's hoping its a busy 2 days....
