Think it's going to come down to if Juve want money now (selling Bentancur) or are happy to simply reduce wagebill for time being (Arthur to Arsenal). Then once that's been finalised, have to convince the player as previously stated.

Bentancur is the experienced signing. Regular international. Knows what it's like to win as a habit. These are the qualities Gerrard have spoken of that he wants. Kamara is the more club-vision signing. Young, talented, and only going to get better. Fits the tactical shape Gerrard and his team deploy. If we did want him, we wouldn't be able to wait until Summer. As a free agent I think there would be too much competition. Either would be a welcome addition to the squad.

Julian Alvarez looks like he's going to Manchester City. Or rather signed by them then loaned either back to River or somewhere to one of the City Group clubs. I think we're going to rue the day we didn't go for him in the summer, as I had hoped back in June.

I'm OK with that. I'm OK with the mistakes in my team because the players are trying to do the right things. "I would have had an issue if that was on the back of the decision and the reaction because you need to respect the person that's coming on the side and he assured me it was absolutely nothing to do with that so it wasn't an issue."

Jens Cajuste wasn't in FC Midtjylland's squad at the weekend ahead of a likely move somewhere... (Brentford? I know others have said we may be interested before too.) Probably unrelated (but I like to provide points for speculation) but there's a private plane seemingly from Midtjylland's closest airport which looks to be flying in to BHX now.
