  1. Agree that would be a planning variation. I'd like to see Villa provide a short update - perhaps from an introductory from Chris Heck?
  2. I think we may also be getting a separate training kit sponsor... So I wonder if they will announce this today and launch all the gear together this afternoon?
  3. I think we do - as it is controlled within the VSports Group,
  4. I am not sure the club have even confirmed the deal yet!
  5. I was just looking at the stadium plan for season tickets for next season, and noticed the 1888 seats in the Trinity. There is also a one bullet explainer about what's changing for them.... "The Club have also reviewed Blocks B3, B4 and B5 due to their proximity to hospitality with some of the best views within the stadium. Seats within these blocks will be upgraded to an ‘1888 seat’ which, for an increased price, includes a padded seat and club tie/scarf." I don't recall the Club providing any further info on this - have I missed it?
  6. Back to Terrace View - it looks like the development and extended hours have just been granted planning permission today: http://eplanning.idox.birmingham.gov.uk/publisher/docs/837E5A60994623924BBFAD4486240A95/Document-837E5A60994623924BBFAD4486240A95.pdf
  7. Interestingly, it looks like we've set up a website specifically for Villa Park - I am guessing to drive more non-match day use and revenue: https://www.villaparkstadium.com/
  8. I live in Hampshire and can't get to VP regularly - and when I do it is built around spending time with my Dad. I would be really interested in something like this on a match-by-match basis - and the fact you get a programme and two free drinks is quite good. I think there probably is a market for something like this - and I also agree that it doesn't seem to be taking anything away from current Holte season ticket holders? There will still be food and drink - this is just providing extra?
  9. @OutByEaster?Is the upper Holte GA+ planned to be opened for next season?
  10. To me it looks like you could reengineer the corner of the Holte and Doug Ellis, though it doesn't look like there is going to be road access via the new North Stand - and so that access will still need to stay. I wonder if you could wrap around both levels and maintain access? Hopefully the club will release the wider master plan soon!
  11. Thanks for sharing @OutByEaster?. Really interesting - and this looks like it could be done over the summer if the plans are approved? Is the wider area around the Holte End (the car park and pub) part of the longer term master plan work?
  12. Does anyone know when the last meeting was, when the notes will be released and when the next one is? On the club's website it lists 27 June 2022 as the last meeting - but I am certain that there has been one since then? https://www.avfc.co.uk/fans/fan-consultation-groups
  13. That is a very interesting point and good question. The natural place for GA+ after the North and Trinity will be Doug Ellis - but if they don't have plans for development due to land constraints you can see the Holte being looked at.
  14. Thanks @OutByEaster? - much appreciated. Is there a date for the next meeting? They seem a bit ad-hoc from the website records.
  15. @imavillan I would be very interested in that too. I also wondered if the club will be doing anything similar for the Doug Ellis. Anyone know if this was discussed at the recent Fan Consultation Group meeting?
  16. This is great news - but I'm a bit frustrated that the club haven't announced the start date for the project...
  17. Me too. I am also keen to see the phase 2 plans - and the Master Plan. I would be really interested to see what the proposal is for the Doug Ellis Stand.
  18. It is next Thursday. Papers published for it yesterday.
  19. On office space, the Villa Live plans have a whole level for commercial - so I expect it will be there. In terms of timing, I re-watched one of the Christian Purslow interviews on this - and he said two years from the submission of the planning application - that was September 2022 - so completely delivered by the start of the 24/25 season?
  20. Confirmed that a decision will be taken at the planning committee on 22 December. The City Council's planning officer recommends that permission is granted. https://birmingham.cmis.uk.com/Birmingham/Document.ashx?czJKcaeAi5tUFL1DTL2UE4zNRBcoShgo=HYl18A8JEP90vgdzXf2oOpTObV7m0ASzbhQ%2fmp3Q9v%2bHGU0HadCdSw%3d%3d&rUzwRPf%2bZ3zd4E7Ikn8Lyw%3d%3d=pwRE6AGJFLDNlh225F5QMaQWCtPHwdhUfCZ%2fLUQzgA2uL5jNRG4jdQ%3d%3d&mCTIbCubSFfXsDGW9IXnlg%3d%3d=hFflUdN3100%3d&kCx1AnS9%2fpWZQ40DXFvdEw%3d%3d=hFflUdN3100%3d&uJovDxwdjMPoYv%2bAJvYtyA%3d%3d=ctNJFf55vVA%3d&FgPlIEJYlotS%2bYGoBi5olA%3d%3d=NHdURQburHA%3d&d9Qjj0ag1Pd993jsyOJqFvmyB7X0CSQK=ctNJFf55vVA%3d&WGewmoAfeNR9xqBux0r1Q8Za60lavYmz=ctNJFf55vVA%3d&WGewmoAfeNQ16B2MHuCpMRKZMwaG1PaO=ctNJFf55vVA%3d
  21. I believe that the application is likely to be on the agenda for the City Council's planning committee on 22 December, so we should know if permission is granted before Christmas.

I'm just bumping this to see if anyone has any good ideas about how to find out the details of V Sports SCS. It seems companies in Luxembourg don't publish much information - as @OutByEaster? says - so wondered if anyone had any other suggestions?
  23. Does anyone know the deadline for the City Council to consider the planning application? I've looked on the page and can't find it. I'm assuming around Christmas time?
