    The NSWE Board

I've said this in the Villa Park development thread - but all the new Directors have also been appointed as Directors of NSWE Stadium Ltd - which owns Villa Park and is listed as a property investment company.
  2. Interestingly all of the new Directors for Aston Villa have been added to be Directors for NSWE Stadium Ltd - the company that brought Villa Park a few years back. https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10883540/officers 6 current officers ANGELAKIS, Michael Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth April 1964 Appointed on 12 April 2024 Nationality American Country of residence United States Occupation Company Director EDENS, Wesley Robert Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth October 1961 Appointed on 25 July 2018 Nationality American Country of residence United States Occupation Businessman HALL, Chester Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth March 1986 Appointed on 12 April 2024 Nationality American Country of residence United States Occupation Company Director LEBADA, Bashir Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth November 1983 Appointed on 12 April 2024 Nationality Canadian Country of residence England Occupation Company Director SAWIRIS, Nassef Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth January 1961 Appointed on 25 July 2018 Nationality Belgian Country of residence England Occupation Businessman WATTERSON, Sarah Louise Correspondence address Villa Park, Trinity Road, Birmingham, United Kingdom, B6 6HE Role ACTIVE Director Date of birth August 1987 Appointed on 12 April 2024 Nationality American Country of residence United States Occupation Company Director
  3. I don't know, but it says something! One to ask at the next Fan Advisory Board perhaps (about what's happening with the investment, not the poor website).
  4. https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2023/december/15/v-sports-announces-investment-from-atairos/ Still on the Villa site
  5. We have to start development on the North Stand by 22 December 2025 if we are to keep the planning permission - so 20 months to break ground before permission expires (though I think you can apply to keep it going before it expires).
  6. The Warehouse' will have a bar, big screen zone, food and beverage courtyard and a multi-use event floor. A microbrewery will also be installed in this facility. The Warehouse can be converted for community events, like recruitment fairs or for the use of school children. The building will also be capable of hosting indoor football events. https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/inside-the-warehouse-aston-villa-27276293
  7. I get that to a degree - I think the club could communicate better - that's why I am expecting big things to tie into the 150 year celebration. And I haven't lost faith. The club has made excellent decisions football wise, and is focusing on addressing FFP via sponsorship and commercial partnerships - which is where they think they can close the gap fastest. I am all for that. I am sure that they will get to the stadium (don't forget we're getting the Warehouse this summer) but they are prioritising their efforts on the business side to make us more competitive football wise and then I expect to allow further investment - I trust the ownership.
  8. Perhaps. We'll see. If I was doing all this, that's how I'd announce the stuff. Link it to a big celebration; talk about the next 150 years.
  9. I honestly expect this to be covered along with new badge, new kit and a number of new sponsors, as part of the 150th celebrations.
  10. I think they wouldn't do it as there is no way that we can be 100% that we'd sell Ramsey for that much. And so spending when you know you were in breech would lead to a higher punishment. If we really think there's any risk of a PSR issue on 30 June we really shouldn't have been buying in January - we should have been selling.
  11. I just don't think we're in a £50m PSR hole. I don't think the club is run that badly. Look at the players we sold last year - after the £120m loss - all youth team and the two main ones raised £30m ish? Also - I expect our high wage/turnover ratio is partly due to paying off Stevie G and his lot and bringing in the new management team. I think this is speculation rather than informed knowledge on this occasion.
  12. That's not clear. Last Villa have said is that they are in conversation with the FA and UEFA
  13. Here's the rules: https://www.avfc.co.uk/club/legal/season-ticket-waiting-list-terms/ The email inviting you to purchase a Season Ticket will indicate the deadline for purchasing a Season Ticket, which is at the Club’s sole discretion. If you do not purchase or are unable to purchase a Season Ticket before the deadline, your offer to purchase will lapse for that Season. You will be entitled to remain on the Waiting List for any opportunities that may arise to purchase Season Tickets in the following Season. If you do not purchase a Season Ticket after being invited to do so on three separate occasions, you will be automatically removed from the Waiting List and will need to reapply to the Club to go back on the Waiting List. In these circumstances you will join the end of the Waiting List.
  14. I am a long way down the waiting list - and I would be really interested to hear what the club's view is the point of being on the list if stadium expansion isn't on the cards? In terms of pricing - I think an inflation level rise is fair this year, given the significant increases previously - and the vast increase that we're expecting on sponsorship next season. And one more question, if that's ok? Is season ticket/ticket pricing the only item on the agenda for the meeting - or is it a wider FAB that will cover other issues (ie stadium plans, recent financial results, etc)?
  15. I think the Trade Nation was 3 years, and BK8 too, but there have been strong rumours of us mutually ending the arrangement early. In terms of training kit - we don't have any sponsor on there at the moment - and it was previously Cazoo - so I expect the club are looking at this hard (Liverpool and others make a decent amount out of this).
  16. For 24/25 in terms of sponsors is this accurate: Kit Manufacturer - Adidas Front of Shirt sponsor - Likely new sponsor with BK8 dropping? Sleeve Sponsor - Trade Nation Training Kit sponsor - Likely new sponsor That right? Lots of opportunity for additional revenue there?
  17. I was just reading through last year's accounts for the Holding Company - the club made a small profit. It also updated on the cost of player trading after the accounts had gone - and I think including the January transfer window for 22/23 (and including Stevie G going and Emry coming) and it said we made £47.9m in sales with costs of around £63.4m. So that doesn't sound like it breaks 23/24's budget, particularly with a loss of "only" £37m for the year before? https://s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/document-api-images-live.ch.gov.uk/docs/AQN7K4mAuX9l2YCCCLr7j3-XPTwC7mmlxHkipUak4Zg/application-pdf?X-Amz-Algorithm=AWS4-HMAC-SHA256&X-Amz-Credential=ASIAWRGBDBV3NFMHY2NT%2F20240229%2Feu-west-2%2Fs3%2Faws4_request&X-Amz-Date=20240229T165854Z&X-Amz-Expires=60&X-Amz-Security-Token=IQoJb3JpZ2luX2VjEBwaCWV1LXdlc3QtMiJHMEUCIDFe3hmbZr3QIiJzk4521LbrPvgjuv0XW37nlZS6SjgGAiEA%2Bxpxx5blgttd5xzUPm%2BniaeDLtK7ssvTn3ocFMCOv74quwUIFRAFGgw0NDkyMjkwMzI4MjIiDF3Odsfv6E8ks0DvjCqYBUdFrBnsBzbJZu5LkX03YYt6XAsldceWqULmzaT0uVK%2F%2FXP%2FG6gNjXf2dUAdmK275rqatNXb8obpGjXudcN3lVT2nvBvMKXda45jRGTIiduRCM8Ku%2FP1RKdCCPCCeXMOVECn4g%2F37rjHPPnR3jVX4uxeXn9pSxMjlfkKwCIdLQ3Aqf3OquL%2BEKwHfcfEHVEa9dp0irL9qQDvRsmfUryz9BG%2BUrup2dUQ4W889cg7Jdx3J3sU6F2iCDgWE8%2B3KVVW%2F1%2F4CWuu4rpoOodDDa0D5WHbJAjX9kOKeHjxuWcc%2F8ZOgaH7wqwH6Jly8PCZKoRFmMm1yJT0Y%2FdO759HSjNvzuCMtXGizQyBVVIpSGXN4OJp1W%2BMFGg5QToj%2FRVYre%2BnN0DfTWMtcWR7jbNmFRojL6cSceggbvoz7eSEg3smz9rahj7IqYN1%2BUfe6sbz8bGZK845wpzgcJuZroILyPcolCVhOuJuB1lvVuWV9SLp32B%2BdiefkcDikdnMyFr9Mf1dPEnURRkmi1HyZ9K4kOFzmAzYdmhsSD7eF4KUTh%2B9FXIaEvHzE5bVIu263PnmvnqC%2B9JSaDuzGoDYtyU1Qlda%2BrDnXjNXMw4cQxcAHdCczzxWO76CmKnTBDzkBhcO5bSWcHC18l8Z4CZsdtnXHHtbHsmcoNH361JcX66jX8HsPOYPFYzt8GbVT3w0eK1Xb4s%2FDhtl5s05eijM6HHokakMyNGTYbr024%2BGTwdSgnLxIgAF0HAcn2BmGjT50FgDPeft8Du7qDyrwuitwpH%2Be1XqYlm6v%2F9aaqz%2Bk2%2BXTfOAQP2E%2F7wcLxitKjrNNhQ9lREoPRwX0RaK04Z%2FeHDzlZCap3O8CdLCQsZbKK4w9Int9DhnKlP8A0WYPbQwstmBrwY6sQFEGd8SJxNLoDcLhkT5AqkmblkcBSt1syYU71nFiPFf3tPRlgkRDGfi%2FNGeC%2BN496pWd%2FJGwHqaeti7K7HdIRpKrAPty5FGpoJMauXi%2F%2BLIbrdgA7DB2qOmRq0Ajv15qdeVDf3ztIqHBEwuVypz1Z6MCKeKL9%2BTMb%2BvueZJbuREb81PaCA0kbBp1h1yhqaRVVPZdjqR3sKPVoU4wuBmPFrZqzbpUNPPbqy5CQVlcI%2Feuh4%3D&X-Amz-SignedHeaders=host&response-content-disposition=inline%3Bfilename%3D"companies_house_document.pdf"&X-Amz-Signature=250d87fd311e6e81d3492a47009f6296a1fba69564eec9a2709cf35045a85bdf
  18. Other than the club crest and c@ck s!cking, what else was on the agenda?
  19. I wonder if this is more to do with sponsorship income? Won't the new Adidas deal have kicked in by the end of June, but probably not by the end of May? And probably other new sponsors will sign up from 1 June too - so if we've had a real push on raising income from sponsorship, could this be the reason?
  20. You'd think UEFA would signal in the published document if their assessment was we couldn't play in their competitions based on the numbers they have?
  21. Villa's accounts will be published in the next 2 weeks - if history is anything to go by - so hopefully all will become clear then.....

    The NSWE Board

I have seen Chris Heck say that too - but there isn't a planning application in place for this - so will they use the existing footprint of the building and just expand within that?
  23. I agree - I am expecting a big announcement on the future of the stadium as part of the 150 year celebrations. I think they know two of the stands aren't good enough and that Trinity needs remodelling - and I expect them to come up with a solution. Probably just not the current North Stand plan!
  24. Was there an informal FAB meeting on 30 January? I think I saw there was somewhere, but can't find anything to back that up....
