The suspension is totally out of order. The ref had a shocker all night. Both bookings Emi got were incredibly harsh. First was for time wasting when that wasn't what was happening. The second was for antagonising the crowd (not sure if that's even an offence) when he was asking for a ball from the ball boy. Shit it

Vastly improved, much more measured and mature than his early appearances.
-
He absolutely must have a defensively strong player alongside him if he's to play well in the middle.

Anonymous in the 120 min prior....

He was played out of position again, covering the right side. He needs to play through the middle. He plays better there and those alongside him play better too. Teilemans had his best game in a villa shirt alongside McGinn at Arsenal.

Wonder if their diving prick of a full back is gonna get booked?

He's been generally awful, without pace, physicality or urgency since he signed. There's been the odd snapshot of a good player now and again when he's played previously. He was poor against both Brentford and Lille. The performance against Arsenal was, however, fabulous. More of the same please in future matches. The talent and application is clearly there which makes the previous performances all the more frustrating. I'm getting Ray Houghton vibes. Rubbish most of the time but excellent in a game that matters.

Any idea where you can see extended highlights. I've been out this afternoon.

The booking last night was bs though. The ref didn't book players for identical shirts pulls on a least 5 occasions prior to Dougie going in the book. Doing that sets the precedent. You either book them all or none.

His "performance" last night was so an anonymous nobody deemed it worthy of comment it would seem. He simply cannot play in the center with any defensive responsibility. His positioning and awareness is terrible. He's been deployed there in the last couple of games and we've looked embarrassingly poor defensively. Throughout his career he's always had extremely strong defensively minded players alongside him because he can't do that role. Replacing him with McGinn seems the obvious move. Don't understand why Emery is using him there....

Teilemans needs to be hooked. He's the primary reason the defence has been exposed. It was the same at the weekend. Bring on Diaby and move Mcginn back to play where Teilemans is trying to play

Don't understand why McGinn was played out wide and not centrally. Teilemans can't do it. Ok going forward, poor the other way

No, but I'm not sure there's any near me. I'm in Stourbridge.

This might sound a little strange but.... I've lost all interest in my job and work. I used to really enjoy my work and probably more importantly the people I worked with. COVID hit and obviously everything changed and now the company is mostly remote working. This has killed it for me. I'm one of the strange ones who can't really work at home. I'm IT based so I'm able to work from home I just find it incredibly hard to not be constantly distracted at home. When we used to be in the office I was able to focus on projects and time would fly by. I could share ideas and problems with colleagues straight away. I really enjoyed the whole thing for the most part. Now I feel incredibly isolated, when I do visit the office it's mostly empty. The whole working experience is now totally hollow. I find myself without enthusiasm or motivation where previously I had it in abundance. Pffffffftttt.

He was injured representing England U21. If he hasn't been injured we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Any compensation due from the FA?
