In other news, my new tactics are working a treat. Up to 2nd Division now. Highest I've been. In Div 3 I got 1 point from 1st 3 games but I put that down to getting into the game, if you know what I mean. As from then on I got 19 points from 21, in the last 7 games, to get promotion.

I understand the lag bit. But I think that if you are a goal down when you quit you should lose the game. No matter how long has gone, or how bad the lag is.

What a performance by Barcelona. 5-1 but it should have been a lot more. 7 or 8 at least, and that's not even exaggerating. Missed a hat full of chances. League is well and truly over but if they keep that form up, they will win the CL no doubt. Their rubbish away form doesn't really matter in CL either because teams, including Barcelona, will play their best XI no matter what and step their game up in the that competition, as it means so much. Oh and that Messi fella is a footballing god.

It's certainly working. Just played a season tonight. Won 5, drew 1, lost 1. Only game I conceded in was the game I lost. Lost it 4-0 to Spurs but just 4 incredibly lucky goals. Dominated possession in all of them 60% or more. Best game was a 7-0 win which guaranteed promotion (vs Spurs). Mostly 1-0/2-0 though. Had to win 2 games vs higher opposition too. Beat England & Real Madrid. Into Division 3 now. That was the highest got before I left the game a few months ago, dropped down to Division 5 before I left. Should get further now I've refined my skills. Can someone tell me something...In 2 games I went a goal up inside 5 minutes, the other guy decides to quit. Yet when I go back to the main screen it doesn't recognise the game has been played and I don't get the points. Is there something written into the game where if you quit before a certain amount of time has elapsed in the match, then the match doesn't count?

After a 3 month exodus I started playing again last night. Played with PSG. Really enjoyed it. Played about 10 games, probably won 7 & drew 3. Complete possession football, i.e. Barca-esque 70%. Just pass it around, playing the simple ball to the man in space while the opposition just runs around, chasing it and tiring in the process. Because they usually bring an extra man to defend it leaves me an extra man on the opposite side, easy to switch the play. Don't create many chances because I don't force it if it's not on, but the chances I do create are so clear I score them. So usually only 2-4 shots a game but score basically all of them. Also because the opposition chase it around all game and become tired it's so easy to score late goals on the counter attack. Must have won about 4 games with last 5 minute winners. Enjoying Fifa again. EDIT - Forgot to add...Good thing as well is their formation 4-2-3-1. 2 DM's, so solid defensively. Full backs get forward very well too.

Yeah I was on about Keefa, not you Andy. Cheers. Doesn't really matter to me anyway. My first game every year is Villa, then I do different ones after that, and I've already done my Villa one.

CSKA Moscow. Doumbia up front is a BEEAAAAST! Honda is quality too. Free-kicks from just outside the area are basically a given. Have Akinfeev in goal too, but for some reason he's not in the starting lineup so have to change that every game.

Yeah I know but he's on form, much more than Messi, Xavi etc. Real will win La Liga unless they **** up completely. Could well win Champions League too. On the other hand there is a Euro's this year so somebody else could win it due to that as I can't see Portugal winning it.

Madrid seem to be starting slow at home a lot lately. Letting in goals in the first few minutes. Cristiano Ronaldo's 3rd goal was just ridiculously good. Got a feeling he might win Balon D'Or this year.

Just poor management. Not sure how you can have Xavi, Iniesta and Cesc on the bench then make 2 changes at HT and none of them are coming on. Even if you have a big schedule of games, at worst 1 of them doesn't play, surely. Is it really necessary to rest of all 3 and only bring 1 on for less than half the game? Oh well. Iniesta is just coming back from injury and Xavi is unable to play game after game nowadays. Don't know why Fabregas didn't play though. Looked good when he came on. Still though I was thinking that even if you didn't play all of them against Leverkusen you would still maybe at worst get beat by one goal. Enough to turn it around at the Camp Nou anyway, whereas at the moment they need every single point from La Liga they can get. The youngsters were the best players on the pitch last night. Tello looks like a quality player. Saw him vs Villareal, Bilbao and last night. Got pace, tricks, can shoot, dribble.
