  1. Still can't see Chelsea going through. The tiny pitch at Stamford Bridge helps them massively, that's why they were so successful defending leads all the time at home during Mourinho's tenure. At Camp Nou Barca will twist them this way and that and win comfortably IMO. To be honest Barca should have won tonight, they certainly had the chances. If Chelsea go through they will have to attack in Barcelona and probably score at least twice. Can't see that happening at all.
  2. 37. Dissapointed with myself for missing Deportivo, Marseille and Spartak.
  3. They have been focusing on Europe and the Copa Del Rey though, instead of La Liga.
  4. The problem in Spain is the standard of refereeing. There is no conspiracy going on to help either Real or Barca, it is simply just down to the refs from Spain being utter shite. This comes from someone who watches 3 or 4 La Liga games a weekend. Not the odd Real or Barca game here and there. And for the record, I am a Málaga fan.
  5. Play it down the wings against Napoli and you are sorted.
  6. Got 29, didn't realise they showed the countries. Missed 5, 30, 32. Knew 30 once it said and would have got 5 and 32 had I looked at countries. Still...pretty pleased with that.
  7. Cannot believe you just said that. Bilbao completely outplayed United in their 2 games. So quite how you can compare Bilbao to WBA is beyond me. There might be a massive gap between the top 2 and the rest in Spain but IMO, after that, there is more good teams in Spain than there is in England.
  8. Don't think anybody is arguing to be honest. ---- Hate Chelsea, hate Inter, hate Real Madrid. LOVE!!! Jose. Have you heard of Sir Alex Ferguson? Yeah but you can't count Fergie in these arguments because he is just a God when it comes football management.

  10. If you're good enough you're old enough. And he is definitely good enough.
  11. 98! The only answer I missed that I personally think I should have got is Marseille winning Ligue Un in 2010.
  12. Messi is still always the striker even though he comes deep to get the ball. Alexis has been on the right wing. Fabregas tends to swap with Messi a bit too, with Messi going deep and Fabregas playing as the striker.
  13. I think Tello is a striker but obviously Messi plays as the striker, so he has been out on the wing. Like David Villa I suppose, not playing in his right position to accommodate Messi. Although it's not really accommodating when it's the best player in the world
  14. Missed an unbelievable chance from that corner in stoppage time. 3 players ready to head it into the net and Arango missed. Defenders nowhere to be seen. That draw just **** up all of European accumulators this weekend.
  15. Thierry Henry. Best player to have ever played in the Premier League in my opinion.
  16. They only put a sticker of their new logo on top of Northern Rock anyway.
  17. The thing is with the Champions League you can never take league form into account. Teams care so much about the Champions League that they rest players for it, also the players playing in both won't try as hard in the league as they don't want to be injured/tired for the CL game. Hence the league results aren't as good. Unless you have a massively good squad such as Real Madrid. That's why even if Bayern have been terrible in Germany, even if Barca have been rubbish away from home, even if Napoli are placed 6th in Serie A, they all still have a chance in Champions League because they will try their hardest. Although that probably does mean Barca's hardest beats everyone.
  18. I only started playing again after a few months and was in Division 5 when I left. Back to back promotions all the way to Division 1 so I don't think the way I'm playing is a problem to be honest. Lost a couple of games due to stupid mistakes.
  19. Said it during the game. I've liked Neville a lot since he started with Sky but tonight he was talking utter shit. Chelsea are never going to turn this around. Napoli will score at the Bridge, probably more than 1 and Chelsea won't score 3 or more. He also was completely off the mark saying if you stop Cavani you stop the team. Sorry... have you not seen Lavezzi, Hamsik, Pandev, Inler etc. Souness was as bad after the game as well, saying Chelsea will score at the Bridge but it's whether they can keep a clean sheet. Almost saying it's up to Chelsea whether Napoli score or not. Nooo...Napoli's front 3 is as good as any. They score....lots. Like somebody else said, I really hate the way English media dismiss the other European leagues. Valencia/Stoke was the same. People thinking because Stoke push people over a bit and use their strength Valencia wouldn't cope. Technical ability comes out on top all day long. They just don't want to think that our league doesn't have the best teams. It might be the best league in some regards, but the best players are in Spain and most competitive league is in Germany. Get over it!
  20. Just played my first season in Division 1....and promptly got relegated. Can't believe the amount of people that just abuse pace with balls over the top. How can you get so far doing that. No skill involved whatsoever.
  21. Arsenal don't play this week by the way. 6th March I think
  22. I wouldn't touch Inter Milan with a bargepole right now. Think they've lost something like 4 of last 5. To rubbish teams as well. Lost at home to bottom of the league Novara last week 1-0 and then lost at home to Bologna 3-0.
  23. Contrary to you lot I really like all 3 of those Nike tops. Especially the Man Utd one.
