I like the way that sherwood says in his interview that he wasn't happy at half time as they weren't playing the way HE wanted them to play. So he had a word with each of them to give instructions to them and it worked. I was a big fan of lambert but he struggled to change a game.

A minute seemed like 5 to be fair! I doubt they checked their watches, play went down the other end, they heard the ref whistle.

Fed up with the rubbish being spouted now, drunken yobs apparently, they weren't drunken yobs they were fans enjoying the result and got a bit carried away. The fans that went on before the final whistle thought the game was over, nothing more, they didn't go on to cause trouble. You'd think there was a full scale riot in the middle of the pitch the way the media are going on. Had it happened at an away ground I could understand why they'd be an issue with it but we were at home.

An appeal would be unsuccessful anyway. It was a dive. Unfortunate, and does seem harsh seeing as the first booking was so innocuous, but it's only a 1 game ban for the sunderland game I just don't think it was worthy of a card. We have ex pros telling us all the time that it's part of the game and is clever play.

The most annoying thing about the red card is it can't be appealed.

The FA would be unlikely to fine a club for a spontaneous post-match pitch invasion by 11 year olds is another important factor, nor would home or away players feel in any way endangered. Blown way out of proportion, I was in the upper holte so had no chance on getting on the pitch. Before the final whistle was stupid, I can't help but think a few thought the game had ended and went on and then people followed. They didn't go on to cause trouble FFs! The scheduling was ridiculous, I saw people that could barely stand up! But I also saw kids on e hallowed turf for the first time and memories they won't forget telling their friends at school on Monday. Anything that wasn't done in celebration is to be ashamed of but thats a very small minority as always. Most of the Albion fans had gone by this time and those that stayed couldn't contain themselves and threw seats. After what we've been through the last 4 years, a trip to wembley is something to look forward to, a bit of light at the end of the tunnel. Are those that went on the pitch during the world cup final idiots as well?

Wow albion fans are really laying into pulls, can't actually believe some people on here wanted him! onto the game, tonight they started the better of the 2 teams and ideye should have ur them in front. I thought half time came at a good time for us and allowed sherwood to tear into them. Second half was much better and the early goal from delph took the roof off. Lescott then had a glorious chance sight away but thankfully put it wide. I've got no idea about he sending offs, will ned to see them both again but both seem harsh. Sinclairs goal was brilliant and gave us that much needed breathing space. Heard given on talksport after the game and he talked about how sherwood puts his arm around some players and tears into others, this s what man management is all about. A long way to go especially in the league but at least we have a nice trip to wembley and who knows what can happen there.
