    Europa league draw next - hoping Liverpool get Leverkusen just to get the another German team out of European competition edit - damn it! They got Atalanta instead But Wet Spam get Leverkusen instead - ouch!

    Definitely but whoever gets through that should really fancy their chances. I can see it being an all-England semi final to meet one of PSG or At.Madrid in the final However, a PSG vs Real final would be entertaining just for the Mbappe factor

    It gets it out the way - a good final before right Christmas and alleviates the FA Cup and league fixture pile up in January/February every year. I’d also switch the League Cup semis to a single tie at a neutral ground

    I wouldn’t mind seeing the LC shoehorned into the first half of the season with the final the weekend before the Boxing Day fixtures.

    Some decent fixtures in the Champions League quarter and semi final draws Quarters: Arsenal vs Bayern At. Madrid vs Dortmund Real Madrid vs Man City PSG vs Barcelona Semis: (not a plea for a KW gif!) Arsenal/Bayern vs Real/Citeh At.Madrid/Dortmund vs PSG/Barca (so no all-England final this year…)

    Press reporting Southgate wants to discuss his future after the Euros - I hope he doesn’t want to stay on longer as I have barely any interest in the national team under his management.

    Glastonbury headliners have been announced…. Dua Lipa (don’t mind her but a headliner?), Coldplay and SZA looking down the confirmed acts, there’s probably around 10 I’d be desperate to watch but overall it’s very underwhelming (for me!)

    Crazy game of rugby in Wales where France basically outmuscled Wales to record a convincing win. Wales played well first half and exposed France’s defence well but second half France clicked into gear off the back of a very solid forwards platform. Wales looked devoid of ideas and will surely be worried about the Italy game in the final week.

    a surprisingly good half by England, yet we still go into the break behind to Ireland. Furbank is by far the weakest link - how he’s picked over Freddie Steward I do not know.

    Episode 3 of Shogun was excellent - starting to see the relationships between the characters developing nicely.

    Best 25 minutes of rugby by England this tournament. Clearly worked on their handling and positioning. still don’t expect them to win this match but it’s all positive at the moment

    Sensational game of rugby - had everything! so pleased for Italy - after the first 20 minutes I thought they were already dead and buried but what a turnaround!!! So nice to watch a game with minimal handling errors and no kicks after the 3rd phase!!! Talking of which, England up next (to stink the weekend of rugby out!)
