I would like to see the 4 from 4.. and we need 12 points if we are to take this promotion seriously. I think 3 wins from 4 will just about keep us in touch.. Anything less is standing still while others no doubt kick on or catch up with us. Never mind relying on other teams above and around us to lose/drop points as that is just feeble. We need to do our own work and win instead of a SHA mentality instead.

Just reading about the Hughie Morrison doping scandal here. His fate awaits the verdict tomorrow morning at 10am. Reading between the lines it looks like the horse has been got at. A sad shame if his whole career and livelyhood is thrown into the air. Don't get me wrong, we have had trainers before in wrong doings.. Howard Johnson etc. but the consensus on this one is that HM has been targetted so to speak.

If we are to strike any deal with Manure it surely will be coming out of next seasons budget. Do we have a first refusal at £10m or thereabouts on him written in to the loan?, if so trigger it and give them the money in June once the loan ends.

With very little funds due to FFP I do not see hoe it is more attractive considering half of the squad will have gone too. We need to act soon if results do not improve or we are definately another Boro/Leeds/Coventry/Forest waiting to happen.

True, could also make things very very interesting if he does bugger off in January too. (I always assumed that until a loan deal finnished 'player x' could not be sold) By rights if all the said clubs do want him then that is fine but they should not be allowed to sign him until then, or if they do sign him now that he cannot move until June 2018.

Only if the right appointment is made, otherwise yes. I agree and as much as I don't want him here and disagree with his style and negative play etc. sacking him to be replaced with a sideways or worse choice would be my fear, - if a better manager where at the ready who could continue and improve then absolutely. For now I think it is a better the devil you know rather than playing devils advocate.

While you also cannot continue to sell your best players and expect to stay in the Premier League if you don't replace them. This reminds me of when we shipped out Downing, Milner, Young, Barry, Benteke, etc and never really replacing properly eventually came back and haunted us to an extent.
