How long before it gets to a stupid level and becomes financially unjustified across the board? I remember being a paperboy and reading the day Alan Shearer signed for Newcastle for £15m and thinking then that was outrageous amounts for a football transfer.

Yep. Defintely torn the arse out the game for sure thanks to the astronomical TV money thats came into play. If we went up we only have half a squad come June and at these prices Tony is going to need to shell out somewhere near £200m in our first season to the manger in order to build a squad capable of staying in the league.

Glad I am not the only one noticing! Few months? More like a few games! Bruce may also still be in charge for this and by then someone might get their finger out their arse and do something about our plight. Or, Do either of you think we should stick by Bruce and give him yet another chance of changing it?

If it all fails at Boro he may not even see the Bristol game. A loss at Boro will see December as 2 points from a potential 18 collected. If that does not yeild the sack I really don't know what will.

@terrytini, @TRO & @Johnnyp I do agree with where you are coming from and while trying to keep a lid on all the frustration it still boils over with what we have to witness on the pitch. Yes, irrational ways of suggestion may not be as warranted as you say and we must retain confidence that change could be imminent as many already see/suggest? Middlesborough is going to be a tough one and the one that could once and for all be the last game for Bruce.

It would depend Rob. How long will it take to appoint the new manager (how many games go by while we are in caretaker mode), secondly that manager will need to be of a calibre of obtaining 2 points per game ratio from January until the end of the season. I have not seen much that will prove this scenario wrong. My apologies if it is negative but I am not filled with confidence by our so called 'football people' calling the shots to see anything positive at this moment in time.

Yeah, since he is so in with 'aim high bounce higher' and what not, atleast he will know who to go for rather than rely on a process that is outdated and clueless. Relying on Round/Wyness to find the next suitable appointment will be like using a typewriter to send an email. Tony, Just ask Randy what happened to his Villa when he also left the running of the club in the hands of incompetent tw@ts.

That is one yeah. Anyone remember the £££ signs for Ellis, or even more recent the 74th minute protest!?? Is a banner needed to that of O'Leary but along the lines of.. It's not Hysteria - You're just a shit manager! Something to get the attention of the owner needs done as Round, Wyness, Bruce & friends are rapidly losing the fans and now maybe even the players too!
